2013 NFL Draft: Should the Minnesota Vikings Gamble on Marcus Lattimore?
With all of the needs that the Minnesota Vikings have focused on addressing at the NFL Draft in 2013, such as cornerback, wide receiver and defensive linemen, few would expect the Vikings to spend a draft pick on a running back.

The Vikings had a very good day on the 1st round of the draft and picked up DT Sharif, corner Rhodes and WR Patterson. They could still sign a M linebacker like Urlacher or move Henderson to the middle or pick one up in the draft. As it stand now their next pick could be a running back. There is a need for a 3rd and long back who excells at pass catching out of the backfield. Lattimore probably won't be around when the Vikes pick next unless they trade up again. They could also use another RB as an insurance policy for Peterson. Hags
