If Spieltard is the one picking the QB, then don't bother.

Even if they did attempt to what team is gonna pick up a 100 million contract for a 28 yr. old RB..........granted he is still awesome but face it when RB's do go they fall off a cliff......it's not like their skills slowly decline......Vikes could never get a deal for him that they would want..........now if you make the argument that they should trade him for altruistic reasons so he can go to a contender while he is still healthy well that is another story..........feel bad for AP, such a rare talent and the Vikes are wasting him by not attaining any semblance of a pass game for him..........

JS your article is BS. Do the Vikings need a QB? Maybe but we also need the defense to show-up and start playing. We need a OC that doesn't think like a caveman.

It's not that 1 man is screwing it up for the whole team. It the whole team screwing up.

Management, Coaching and Players all need to be evaluated and improved upon.

Magnum Man II is asking the question do the vikings need a QB which disqualifies everything else he uttered. He must still have hope Christian injury prone Ponder impresses the owner and Gm who are fed up with his tomfoolery QB play.

Get over Ponder Mags it is a QB league and we concluded he is not the vikings QB.

I'm perplexed by your reply. You either didn't read what I said or you didn't understand what I said. Both a strong possibility. The later of the two more likely, because we all know that the English language is not your strong point.

So lets look at this from a different angle.

If we go with Freeman. Then the QB that you have chosen disproves your QB Guru status. Because it was you, that even at halftime, were informing us that he was going to turn the game around and he didn't. Making you a QB guru want to be. Instead we were all watching and listening to the game and every sportscaster was saying that Freeman is a bad QB. However the final proof is in the score of the game - we lost.

If we go with Ponder. The guy that you dislike for racial reasons. Shows that management has already given up on your guy and that even they see that he was not worth the 3 Million we spent on him. Again making you the guru want to be.

Give it up Avant - you've lost your a prejudice nobody that can only spin his hate speech and racism.

You're just like the tea party, make your own truth up.
You would agree today NFL is a QB league meaning without a QB no super bowl. I've been a vikings fan since Joe Kapp. I have been a fan longer than years I have left to live and I want a SB before I go. The Vikings owners, GM now know what I and most of the media said from day 1. Ponder will be nothing more than a journeyman QB

Seems like old times. I'm right you are clueless all you can do is name call and character assassination JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE YOU DRINK TEA WITH.

Your knowledge of politics is weaker than your knowledge of football.

Just how many teams have won a Super-Bowl, with a defense allowing 31 points per game? NONE!
How many teams have won a Super-Bowl when special teams scores more points than the offense? NONE!
How many teams have won a Super-Bowl when you can guess the first play of each (and every) series? NONE!

You think were a QB away from playoff contention? Your delusional. IF you think Ponder is a journeyman QB? Maybe but he is to date the best QB we have on the roster.

The truth of the matter is that your beating a dead horse with all your QB statements. If the QB is a problem, it's not the biggest problem the Vikings have. Keep drinking your own Kool-Aid, it's all you have.
