Heralded arohnd the '11 draft as "a poor man's Chad Pennington" according to Mel Kiper. Turns out he's a naked starving Ethiopian's Chad Pennington.

I always believe what Kiper says...his insight to Jamarcus Russell was the best info ever on draft day....

"Three years from now you could be looking at a guy who is certainly one of the elite top 5 QBs in league"

Maybe he meant Jamarcus will be one of the top 5 QB busts in league history. But probably not, Kiper uses his Aynus to process his thoughts.

Tavaris Ponder. Now you're comparing Ponder to be like your future HoF who was a failure. That's the closest you've ever came to manning up and admitting your choice of QB sucked.

Jackson and Ponder are like two peas in a pod right down to the number 7.

So when are you going to proclaim Ponder a future hall of famer? When are you going to show support for Ponder like you did for Jackson. Most importantly when are you going to open the football for dummies book and actually learn something about the game.

OK, dumb question from a Packer fan (be gentle). Why is it that with the Vikings' issues on offense that they haven't given Webb a shot at WR? I know you don't want to have your backup QB injured, but from everything I've read about him he could be a serious playmaker at WR. With his skill set and talent (and the lack of that elsewhere at WR) he'd be the Vikings'#2 receiver at worst.

Just curious. Especially with Harvin out for the year.

Apparently Webb is neither a QB or WR.

An economy backup QB. Period.

Lots of great, fast athletes who cannot catch a football. We proved it with Troy 'Scissorhands' Williamson, and he came out of college a Wide Receiver. Lately, I've seen a lot of 'great athletes' playing QB without a clue.
Now I don't know how well Webb can catch, and we hate to see that great athlete ride the pine, but there has to be a reason to keep that clip board in his hands.

AP broke a collar bone in college, sprain an ankle and blew his ACL. Why no talk about him being injury prone. Oh that's right, because the Ponder jab came from a fake Vikings fan.

Same fake Vikings fan also thought Jahvid Best was a better draft pick that Toby Gerhary. Talk about injury prone. What he have like 6 concussions.
What's there to say when you're producing as Peterson is/has?

That's why they're not talking about Peterson being injury prone.
