Miles Austin: 6 ft 2 & 216 lbs Austin ran a 4.47 second 40 yard dash, and jumped 40.5 inches in the vertical leap at the 2006 NFL combine, He also has great hands. You know cowboys fans don't want to lose him. Austin is 29 now & last season he had 945 yards. Robison had 8.5 sacks last season & 3 forced fumbles as a backup right DE. Robison is a good player but he is going to be 31 years old The Vikings could use a WR like Austin, Robsion is getting old & the Vikings does have Right DE Griffen as a backup to Allen. Griffen also had 8 sack season in less downs then Robsion, So it might be worth the trade for Austin. I would make the trade & just to see if the Cowboys will bite ask for a 4th round pick to add to it & if they don't make the trade straight across anyway.

Austin is always hurt Robison's playing time with the vikings will be minimal. It doesn't matter.

I dont see any reason why we would want Miles Austin.Robison is still getting better and Austin is getting worse.

Who do you think is going to play in Robisons place...Lawrence Jackson?Everson will most likely be on the right side rotating with Allen.

Assuming they can't resign J.Allen because of money, they'll need to resign the others to include Robinson. Our DE's are some of the best out there. He hlds down the left side of the line beautifully.

Robison is getting old & last season was his only good season. What Avant has said is true Austin is always getting hurt but the time he played last year he had 943 yards receiving, More then any receiver on the Vikings team.

Theres no way the Packers would even consider trading Cobb or Nelson That will never happen. Scott Studwell Has said DE Everson Griffen is stronger & faster & a better player then Brian Robsion & I know he knows more about the two players then any of us. Jared Allen is 31 & Robsion is 31 Who would you resign? Case closed.

Sure Sanchez will start But as soon as he blows a game or two Smith will take the starting job. The Fans was booing the guy at a basketball game, do you really think he will last once he blows a few games? Avant is right on this Are you all so against him you can't even admit when he is right? I think its pretty little of you.

Robison did more than just sacks. He stripped the ball from the quarterback as well.We dont need Austin. He doesnt fit what were doing.Aside from Jennings were going younger and thru the draft.

The Vikings will rework & Adrian & Greenway's contract to keep Allen. Jared Allen has had double digit sacks every year he has been with the Vikings. It would be foolish for the team not to try & work something out & the fact the Allen wants a Ring on his finger, I think he would be willing to take a little less money then he has been making.

What your saying is True he had 3 forced fumbles & a few QB hurries What im talking about is a what if scenario & Gtiffen is younger & just as good as Robsion, He also had a 8 sack season last year & he did it in less downs. So who would you keep it comes down to, A guy that did the same thing in less downs & is younger or a older player thats money that could be used to resign a good player like Allen?

Unfortunately,I see Allen as the odd man out next year. That money saved will resign the other DE's and the draft class.Reworking contracts doesn't get anybody but Allen signed.Would love to see it,but I don't.A injury could change things but not likely.Griffen is ready and Robinson does fine on the other side, plus draft a DE high up but maybe not in rd 1.

The Cowboys ought to keep Austin and the Vikes out to shop Robison around being that what he brings to the table is not as critical as other needs by the Vikings. Perhaps the Vikings ought to consider a possible deal to get Hakim Nicks from the Giants as he is in the last year of his contract and it is unlikely that the Giants can afford two high priced wideouts and receive a player of value in return to plug holes of their own. The Giants look well set on offense, but they could use upgrading on defense.
