I saw Plant and Alyson Krauss at Red Rocks a couple of summers ago. She's drop dead gorgeous and could play the fiddle. You could tell Robert wanted some

<quoted text>I'm not all bad. I saw Zep in high school, right after they tracked physical graffitti, in chicago, 3 hours of nothing but Zep. Makes up for missing Stevie Ray Vaughn by 1 month later in life.
I never got to see Zeppelin. Altho they played in St. Louis one time during my high-school years. A gal that I went to high-school with went to see them. She tripped on acid and jumped out of a van traveling 60 mph.

That left an impression.

I had tickets to see Styx/Eddie Money in Duluth way back, but the day of the concert I couldn't find my ticket. My friends went without me, and ended up at a bar where Eddie showed up after the concert, burning dollar bills he was.
found my ticket the next day......

I've been really jamming on Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks.

How does one guy write so many songs with that many profound lyrics. Blows my mind.

During this worst period of the year known as the time without football I bring back our semi-traditional music thread.
Things I'm listening to:
Crawl by Kings of Leon - older song of theirs and not as well known but it really grows on you. I'm an old school head banger and it has a heavy sound then their other songs.
Somebody I Used to Know, Gotye - Why? Because it is everywhere. Plus the parodies are hilarious. The parody Some QB I used to know got picked up from youtube by NFL.com
http://www.nfl.com/videos/denver-broncos/0900...
Life Won't Wait, Ozzy Osbourne - Should be theme song for Frazier to get of his butt and not treat the team as a rebuilding effort but as a contender. Worst to first is always a possibility.
School's Out, Alice Cooper - Because my youngest graduates Friday.
Stubby- what do you think of Miserlou by Dick Dale? Not the Pulp Fiction version but the 1961 recording.

I also like Mary Hopkin's "Those Were The Days".

Just got Sirius XM back. Gotta love 60s on 6.

My left handed guitar player tastes ran more toward Jimmi Hendrix instead of Dick Dale.

My 60s tastes run toward the harder edge with Led Zepplin, Cream and Steppnewolf and The Who.

Not a remake, it is original with use of sampling from Sweet home Alabama.

Harry noticed my love of metal. Even hip hop artists dig great metal. trick Daddy used the sampling technique to put a little Ozzy Osbourne into a rap song.

Just heard their new single Headlong Flight. It's got a metal edge. The bass lines in particular really grabbed me.

Still don't like Geddy's voice though.

It's a good song, but Geddy will never sound like Steve Perry, LOL.
