When an entire forum wishes Avant would leave,a man would respect the wish and do so.
A troll rants on.
Ponder had pretty good stats,a young team on the road, not bad and no Simpson didn't help.
Notice how a fan looks at things,a troll praises the opposition.maybe with a little luck AVANT WILL DROP DEAD.Fingers crossed.

The only thing that regressed was Frazier/Musgrave reverting to Child/Bevell. First 3 drives into the red zone mostly on Peterson's legs and what do they do? Pull Peterson and put in Gerhart to pass protect. Why not make it obvious what your play call will be.

This game was lost in the first quarter with the 3 FGs. Bad, bad play calling.

Final thought - Ponder was a much better passer than RGIII. Over time the pocket passer beats the scrambler.

I stopped watching the NFL because it is all a set up. They already know who they want to win and the games are basically scripted to yelled the winner they want. College football is so much better!

Overall hard fought game but unless we start using,Jenkins,Aromashodu,John Carlson,Stephen Burton,Rhett Ellison and Wright on a regular basis were not going to go very far.The Percy Harvin,Kyle Rudolph and Peterson show wont win the playoffs cause its to easy to hone in on.

I think the offense gave it a good go at the end.Ponder was clicking,I liked that from a young guy in a tough environment, the D was off today,we scored enough to get that win if the D did the job.

You are the only human who would say Ponder is a better passer than RG3. I'm taking away your man card.

Griff is number 4 in passer rating as a rookie which is unheard of.

National Football League seasons < 1968 1970 >

The 1969 NFL season was the 50th regular season of the National Football League, and the last one before the AFL-NFL Merger. To honor the NFL's 50th season, a special anniversary logo was designed and each player wore a patch on their jerseys with this logo throughout the season.

As per the agreement made during the 1967 season, the New Orleans Saints and the New York Giants switched divisions again, returning to the 1967 alignment.

The season ended when the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Cleveland Browns in the NFL Championship Game, only to be defeated by the American Football League's Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl IV

Well thats somewhat true but the offense gave up three turnovers.Plus we couldnt get into the end zone.4 fieldgoals and turnovers put the defense in a tough position. On the other hand 38 points allowed isnt acceptable. However the defense will be better against a less mobile quarterback where Im not so sure about the offense. We would have never won that Detroit game if not for the returns. Its going to rear its head unless we get Simpson or something. We need to find a young fast reciever somewhere and get rid of either Jenkins or Aromashodu. We dont need both of them when their the same.I cant believe with all the people in the world we cant find a another reciever.I bet you the Packers could find one in a hurry.

We have plenty of playmakers. We do not have a strong armed qb. We have a wco dink'n dunker and we do not have dt's that demand double teams on runs, collapse pocket on passes. You must make other team's qb worse than yours. With a dt, RG3 does not go 73 yards over the guard for 6. Guess unless a tv guy tells you all we need a dt none of you clowns will believe it. You'll be clammoring either wr or guard, I suppose.

Btw, Childress, still like the 49r blueprint to surround a bad qb with first round offensive linemen? Did they destroy the giants at home? Must have. Yep, Alex smith just needed playmakers, super bowl for sure with those wr's and oline

Last few games Ponder has regressed to 2011. Accuracy seems to be a problem again.
Yep, coming into the game Ponder was 2nd in the league for completion percentage, with only 2 interceptions. Wow, doesnt seem like he is ever gonna improve as a QB (that was sarcasm, by the way)You never have, dont now, and never will know anything about football.

He is blaming Ponder for the loss. Since when is the defense allowed to give up that many points.

Ponder is not the problem. It's the defense in this game.
