I like Norv Turner a lot. The guy is a proven winner. When with Dallas had had that offense winning back to back super bowls & the way he used the run game with Emmit Smith. Turner should fit right in with Peterson, I like the he used the Brown's Josh Gordon the route designs was great. The Brown's needed better players for Turner to work with. Turner made Weeden & Campbell look good... lol

In 1998, Terrell Davis won the NFL rushing title, then a Super Bowl. Only twice before or since has a running back led the NFL in rushing and won a Super Bowl: When Emmitt Smith did it in 1992 and 93. His offensive coordinator? Norv Turner.

A great choice.Love the fact that Turner likes the downfield passing game. We'll be more explosive and exciting and Peterson will gain more yards with less runs. The Vikings are back!!!!!!

I think so Bleeds..........I echo those exact sentiments..........He has had success as an OC not so much as a HC but as an OC, YES..........and I think he will find a way to stretch in order to get max production with less carries from AP..........now we need to make some ripples in the FA market and draft well..........Vikes still need another quality receiver IMO to make this plan work though..........

Good to talk to you Erie.Turner turned Josh Gordon into a star receiver in Cleveland so hopefully he can do the same with Patterson.PLus Turner loves the tightend as in Kyle Rudolph. Not to mention Jennings and Wright. Were in pretty good shape actually but another receiever wouldnt hurt.I wouldnt be surprised if they brought back Simpson in a backup role.Im optimistic.

Offenses evolve over time. Turner is stuck in the 80's
