This SF qb looks like shit.
Pedestrian stats against the worse defense.
Smith would have lit that up.

The Sanfranciso 49ers have been proclaimed Colin Kaepernick's team. Sorry Alex Smith Childress was wrong.

Smith of SF has stellar stats a top rating, and a proven winning record. You don't bench that on 1 game and no game tape for Chi.Only a fool of a coach or fan switches at this point.Jimmy is a dumbass. Now if he isn't cleared because of symptoms, you start the back up.

What I saw today, was an unispired team with a simplistic game plan that could not block, tackle or kick.

Basically Ponder (IMO) as one of the few that was playing to win. No wide receivers, mistakes left and right and a few "blown" calls!

If I were to place blame. It would be the coaching staff. No team is gonna win a game when they are dead.

your thoughts.....

The F bomb (Jimmy Avant) can only talk about QBs. Its not that its because he is any good at picking them or analysing their play. He's just a broken record and that is all he knows to say......

Think of it this way! We've all heard a parrot say, "Polly want a cracker." Has anybody ever heard that bird say, "Give me a steak biotch." Think of Jimmy as the bird, but with less brain power!!

WOW! What else can I say? I'm been trying to help you for 6 years and still you don't know a problem QB when you see one. Ponder IS THE PROBLEM.

You must not have heard the NFL is a Quarterback league. If you don't have one quoting Howie Long the Minnesota Vikings are offensively 1 dimensional.

Until we get it right I will be looking for our franchise QB.

How great does Jim Harbaugh look? He got Kaepernick in the 2nd round in the same draft the vikings reached with Ponder. Maybe it make Spielman and Frazier look bad.

<quoted text>Childress, the main things I saw today that overshadowed everything else were 1) Vikings defense could not stop the Bears from converting on third down, and 2) The Vikes have NO receivers,(how many dropped passes did you see?). I just dont get some people thinking the Vikes were going to make a serious run at anything this year, when it was a well known fact they are in rebuilding mode.
Dropped passes were many and all Ponder's fault.

just ask Dumbvant.

Can't figure who he's trying to convince.Nobody around the forum believes in Avant. So what's the point? The other problem is the constant insults to forum members, making him a troll.Another problem is his style, lacks maturity, conversation skills.Self anoints himself to frequently, part of why he is frequently attacked.I doubt his sanity as well.
I kicked him off the forum team for good and he knows it.I want Viking fans and people who know how to interact about the Vikings.I have a problem with how he thinks a fan of a team should be,I would say he's more a fan of football but not very intelligent or good at it.As far as his stupidness at trying to convince people he knows Qb's,I'll tell you what.Go to your favorite mock draft site, pick 5 qb's being drafted and list them in here. Then next year when he speaks like a fool, just say, yea,I listed these guys as my guys already.Meaning his dumb run at picking Qb's will be what we all listed. How elementary, who wants to stoop to such a dumb level and act like you know a frigging thing.
Best to drop him once and for all.
I just can't have a sane, civil, intelligent or share football thoughts with a dope like him anymore.Plus he turns everything into about himself, all the while insulting at every chance those who he's suppose to be a fan of a team with.
Just pathetic, you should digest what he says a bit more before responding.I'm sure at that stage, you'll just shake your head and move onto a worth while conversation with Viking people who have a clue.

At least.

We need WR bad!

I just got Jan home today. Sorry I didn't get a chance to call. I watched the second half and had a lot of shit to do afterwards. Just relaxing now for the GB @ Giants game.

Pneumonia, sepsis, she needed blood and a ton of antibiotics. Scary but, now she's home. I need to start wearing a mask when I feel sick. I'm probably the one who gave it to her initially since she really wasn't anywhere but home.

WR,RG,DT, John Carlson a huge waste of money, we have issues.

Another good draft or two and of course.....CUT AVANT, who knows.

A pretty good indiation of how the coaching staff feels about the Viking passing game is when you're down 18 in the fourth quarter and you're running the ball.

You think the owners will look at Ponder knowing they could have had Kaepernick in the 2nd round so thy fire everybody.

40or60 most topix vikings fan don't have 20-20 vision because they can't see Ponder is not getting better with-that every starting rookie QB is outplaying him.

The backup in SF had avg stats against the worse defense while playing with a ready made S.B. team.Their HC really made a bad call.Maybe Smith was getting some time with the injury.
As far as Ponder,I'm moving on to needs in the draft.
Avant can cry all he wants,he hasn't been even close n evaluating the position.Dropped balls,no Percy. The elite Qb's I watched yesterday all had time and peace of mind while passing. It showed up in production. The exception on some plays was Brees and he looked like ponder when he had no time. With the Avant idiot, last year he wouldn't shut up on Newton. He stinks,I'll expect the same from RG next year.Running Qb's are not worth the investment.I see he doesn't mention his bust in Houston and Ari anymore,in fact he never explains a thing when they fail.
Anyway,I see nothing to suggest we don't have a good Qb.

Glad things are fine.DB,MLB,RG,RT,2 Wr.Plus a few are aging at other positions and some only had 1 year contracts. Will be an interesting draft.iI would say get a top FA wr.Draft more OL from the 1st pick on,I want that SF OL.,it shows up in production. The following year draft those defensive needs I mentioned, unless they can find some late round gems in this draft.

If they can find a way to keep Harvin and Wright on the field together, than 1 top FA Wr will work.Upgrade the OL early in the draft for sure.If they can also get a FA DT,then we're just this draft from from putting things back together, the problem is all those 1 year contracts we gave out.A new OC is on my wish list, but not just any OC.

Last off-season 49ers tried to fire Smith by signing Peyton Manning now it's a forgone conclusion NEVADA'S Kaepernick has Wally Pipp Alex Smith. If you don't know who Pipp is, Google him. Lou Gehrig did to Pipp what Kaepernick is doing to Smith.

Watched Wright yesterday is is not special. Peterson, Harvin are the only offensive elite players.

In evaluating the SF qb position,I looked at Smiths winning pct.,Qb rating, completion pct. and TD to INT ratio. All I saw were damn good numbers.I saw nothing from the back up last night to suggest it was the right move, especially against that N.O.defense.If they stay the course,I suspect those avg stats to go south.
That's my conclusion on another team, now back to the Vikings,my only interest.
