I see the Vikes gave Jennings 47.5 million for 5 years. Thats 9.5 million a year, yes! less then what the packers offered him. Why would jennings take a 1/2 million less then the packers offer? He can't prefer to have Ponder throw to him over Aaron Hmm Any guesses why he took less. Maybe jennings sister wasn't giving only her opinion of the team & Aaron lol
Packers offered him 10 mil LAST YEAR! Do you know what the Packers offered this week? Do you? Please share your knowledge and FACTS with us by giving me a link and a quote if you can.... Otherwise you are just assuming AGAIN! Creating your own opinions without any FACTS! ezg = MAKING THINGS UP!

In the below statement where they mention "many of you have missed the timetable " they are talking about YOU! Meaning YOU don't know what you are talking about!

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/54...

"There was an ESPNMilwaukee.com report that suggested the Packers offered Jennings a contract that averaged $10 million per year, but many of you have missed the timetable of that report: The offer came last summer or fall. It's hard to believe that offer was on the table this week, but it's a big reason why some fans are having a hard time accepting his decision."

See look at what they say... let me help you ezg
1. report that "SUGGESTED" the Packers offered Jennings a contract that averaged $10 million per year. SUGGESTED does not mean DID
2. That "SUGGESTED" offer can last "SUMMER or FALL"

Got it, ezg?

viking fan / ezg... I don’t not know why you still insist on ‘making things up’ and calling it ‘fact’ without any proof at all... It is just like your stupid SOS list you made up on your own, but pretend it is the ‘right and only way’ to make the SOS list. It was just silliness. ESPN makes the only right way btw, yours is wrong!

Maybe Jennings signing with MN will give back a slight touch of that GB / MN rivalry like after Favre signed with the Vikings. I have not felt the rivalry to be strong since the Packers won the Super Bowl Favre’s last year as a Viking. Maybe this will help, but so far I am not feeling it. I just don’t worry about the Vikings yet, maybe I should care more...

I never said when the Packers made jennings a offer My point was they did make him a offer of 10 million & he took 500,000 less. Why is that? None of it is made up like your trying to make out. Wow thats pretty low even for you.

Pay attention ezg!

The Packers offered him 8 million this year. The 10 mil offer was last year, but he wanted 13 mil so re didn't take it. After he suffered more injuries this last year and Cobb emerged to replace him, so the Packers offered in 8 million last week.

Once again you look like an azz because you DON'T USE FACTS. You only use your stupid assumptions and you MAKE STUFF UP!

You must look like a human pretzel with your foot in you mouth and your head in your ass!

Greg Jennings was offer 8 million.

A rivalry is only one if both teams are equal. Vikings QB journeyman Christian Ponder against the best QB in Packer history Aaron Rodgers. That's not a rivalry to me.

Even with Ponders play the Vikings did have a 10-6 record & they did split wins with the packers last year. sure they fell apart in the playoffs but that was because of injury. & Webb that didnt play a down all year. I think with the addition of jennings & the up coming drafted players, I think there should be a good reason to worry about the vikings. The packers only had one more win last then the vikes. the Packers schedule is going to be a pretty hard one. & now they lost jennings & maybe the TE.

Vikes will need better play from QB to be able to make a playoff threat. Cassell's not that guy, Ponder hasn't been yet. I doubt Ponder ever will be, but not everyone can have Aaron Rodgers at QB.

Think Markus Wheaton, rd 2, instead of a hunter or allen (allen is slow-does nothing exceptional, hunter drops passes, hears footsteps after injury)

On Wheaton He has the speed Runs a 4.45 40 & I like how if the play brakes down he know enough to run back to the QB but they say his weaknesses is - While he can elude defenders in the open field, he’s not necessarily elite making men miss after the catch. he can be overwhelmed by physical corners in his route, and especially at the line of scrimmage & is Inconsistent as a blocker.

I like Patton, some good hands. I like him better then Wheaton I seen a few games of Patton's he has good acceleration & good separation before & after the catch also he can handle the physical corners.

This is what NFL scouts had to say about Quinton Patton, Louisiana Tech - Patton, at 6-foot-0, 205 pounds is a big bodied receiver with above average speed. He is great as a blocker, runs good routes, and rarely drops anything. He is very shifty, can make people miss in the open field, and is great at adjusting to poorly thrown balls. lol adjust to Poorly thrown balls - Ponder will love him.
