I like the DeAndre Hopkins pick I was saying the other day this guy can play I would take him. This draft is deep in DT, MLB & WR What it isn't real deep in is CBs IF I was the picking I go with WR CB or DT if the right guy is there & what ever one of the two that wasn't picked in the first would be my second round pick. then go with a MLB in the third I said this before I think the vikes will move Erin Henderson to MLB & thats why I dont see them picking one with a first round pick.

That's it????I listed 6 rounds but I won't share it in this forum. If successful I have witnesses in the other site.
Henderson is not a natural and a short term fix. That unit is aging and short of players/depth.
Min. would be more than wise to draft a LB #1.I in fact drafted 2 LB's.1st and 4h rd.Wr.1st and 4th rd.CB 2nd rd.OG 3rd rd.DT in the 5th.RB in the 6th.I have my 3 7th round selections but haven't listed them yet.
Minn. probably does some trading, hard say,so I just drafed by order. After the 2nd,all my picks are for depth but are capable starters.

Don't trade up to take a pick but pick the best available that slips. Vikes need a corner, DT, M linebacker and a reciever most in the first round and can take the best available at any of those positons. That will leave the other two positions to be filled in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Tyranne Mathieu might be available still in the 3rd round and he might be the biggest talent in the entire draft. If they pass on corner until the third he could come in and be as good as any corner in the league. Follow that up with another wide reciever and RB who can catch out of the backfield for those third and long situation where their is a big hole to fill. I see a nice draft unfolding for the vikes today. Hags

I use to like Teo but the more game highlights i see the more I agree he's over hyped. If Richardson is available in a trade that doesn't require us to sell the farm I think we move down for him and then try and move back to get at least another third round pick. If he's not available I think Speilman goes with Sly Williams as the first pick and then still tries to move back for someone like Woods, Hopkins or Hunter and then moves into the early part of the second to get Brown or Minter.

That's my hope but I won't be shocked to see us drafting Teo in the first.

I forgot to mention that my favorite "sleeper" is Chris Harper from K. State. As good a set of hands in the draft and his avg ypc is about 14.7; which is very good. He is also one of the best blocking WR's. I really like him and hope we get him in the fourth with our first pick. I think he will be a good WR for a long time.

I agree, take BPA ..BUT.. what position should be targeted first? The WR class, while a need, is deep and even in quality, so probably not. That leaves DT, LB and CB. My guess is LB, I like Ogletree (gone) so Minter or Te'o. Then DT or CB, Richardson (gone) so Williams but if Rhodes or Trufant falls expect a CB. WR a must in rd 2, Allen (please, NO) perfer Woods (gone) so either Hunter of Hopkins. My sleeper pick QB Bray, in the 3rd.

All the conventional wisdom has us taking a DT with the 1st pick.
My problem with that is,KWill would almost certainly start. Then he is a FA and going on 34.Might be back but it doesn't look that way.
Leroy Guion will be under contract next year,So what? They make him sit for the #1 selection?#1 has to be impact/starter IMO,then after the season,KWill is gone and Guion restarts?Don't see it,more of a next year problem to me.
I guess if they go DT,i won't be disappointed, but I'm tired of hearing it's a need position this YEAR.DLine wasn't to shabby last season, and I expect they'll work things out with our DE's when the time comes.
In my mock,I wanted to push the wr into a later rd.,just felt that if you expect your 1st rounder's to start and probably your 2nd rounder,it was best to get a better wr in the 1st.Now if a huge CB or really good player is there, you got to get him.
We'll see tonight.

I hear that Alex Ogletree might slip to the second round. would it worth holding off if he does? Did you hear the vikes could trade with the Rams at 16 to get the jump over the Bears & pick Te'o. theres all kinds of rumors going on now.

Some nice picks above all can happen I have a WR CB or MLB anyone of the two that wasn't picked would be the second round pick. 3rd round DT 4th OG, 4th DE 5th WR maybe a RB 6th LB 7th WR if a Rb was picked in the 5th then a WR in the 7th 7th S With 11 picks & being low on cap money I cant see the vikes trading out of the first round for more draft picks.

Childress: To keep this string short...as most people agree, it takes a WR about 3 years to be an impact player, where-as defense "gets it" quicker. So a WR could be a good choice. However, I don't think any WR available at 23 or 25 won't be there in the 2nd rd, or another WR with simular abilities.
VN: Ogletree goes to Da Bears. If someone drops, I expect it to be Te'o. Just watch, trades happen and we'll all be wrong.

I agree Tyonne would be a prime pick if he is still there.

Childress: Conventional wisdom wins. DT Floyd. Now who thought he would be available at 23. CB Rhodes was another logical choice.

The vikes didnt pick a MLB like some thought. I didn't think they would with their frist picks. The vikes still can get a MLB they want. the vikes still have a 4th round pick a 5th, 6th & 7th round picks so them picks won't get them back into the second round to get Te'o but if the vikes are willing to give up their second round pick next year along with the 4th & 5th they still have now they can make a trade back into the second round to get Te'o Its a little wild I know but its something to think about if the vikes want Te'o to fill that need.

I'd love to see him in the Green & Gold next year.

Nice haul, guys. Floyd was a nice surprise being available. An awful lot to pay for Patterson though. If he pans out it will be a great round.
