Seems a lot of sports writers are blaming RG3 for losing the game. I didn't watch the game, so you'll have to let me know what you think.

My take on the game Magnum was that RG III didnt so much lose the game himself, it was more so his lingering knee injury that did him in. He aggravated it early and later in the game it finally gave out on him when he was trying to recover a fumbled snap, and he had to leave the game. Funny how there is a poster here that thinks he was the greatest thing since Cam Newton, but my observation was that his style of play got him hurt twice in his rookie year, with the knee injury lingering for weeks. The knee problem seemed to turn him from a running QB, into a regular QB that could throw well.

Shanahan should be fired for letting RGIII play. RGIII not only wasn't cleared by the team doctor he didn't even talk to the doctor or let him look at his knee. By Shanahan allowing this without taking the teams interest and the players long term career into account he ended up failing both the team and RGIII.

By the way, the Skin's team doctor is Dr James Andrews. the same guy who fixed All Day's knee. He just might know what the hell he is doing and likely would have made RGIII a scratch. With Cousins in this game would likely have gone differently.

Agreed, plus he was scrapped off the field more than once and Shanahan kept putting him in.That late fumble sealed the deal.RG is not physical enough for the NFL,better become a pocket passer.Glad we didn't do a mortgage similar to Hershel.

Sounds like a significant injury and the owner Snyder will accompany RG to the Dr.'s visit.HC should be worried right there alone.

Shanahan should have taken the same approach the Nationals did with Strasburg.Shut him down despite the playoffs.
Davey Johnson looks good, not so much for Shanahan.

The only thing that makes that statement so funny, is that it's true!

BTW - why haven't we heard much this season about he great Cam Newton. My understanding is that he was supposed to be a once in a life time players.

But didnt Andrew Luck come right in the next year and break the rookie passing yardage record? PLUS have a winning record? PLUS make it to the play-offs?

World's Dumbest Football Poster no claims to have liked Luck when we all knew he was Cam last year and RGIII this year. He only climbed on the Luck bus after Vikings lost to Colts. Of course this once again just proves what a fake Vikings fan he is.
