The Vikings win the division get the bye week & play RG3 & the Redskins in the divisional round The defense plays their game of the season & the Vikes win 24-3 Now in the conference championship the Vikes play Atlanta in a shootout game. Atlanta pulls ahead by 4 points with under two minutes to play & Ponder takes over on 20 yard line & throws short to Jennings for 12 yards then again to Patterson. now giving Ponder the best game of his career, he then hands off to Peterson that runs over the defender & runs for 56 yards & the winning TD & hold off Atlanta's last second attempt. The Vikings go on to play the Texans that's playing in their first super bowl The super bowl will be held in miami's new stadium & the Vikings win 21-7

4000 30td 10ints 75QBR Plays 17 games.

If Ponder puts up those numbers Peterson will average over 6 yards per carry and we will be unstoppable.

I would love to see them numbers out of Ponder, never know maybe he will have that breakout year like Stafford in his third year.

10 wins plus Jennings plus 3 first round picks equals division title.

Ponder has regressed. I gaurantee he's not the starter at the end of the year. But I do think Cassell is good enought to be an above average starter in this league.

I think their season will depend on when they pull the plug on Ponder.

Cassell had one great season when he knew the job was Tom Brady's but he crashed and burned in KC when it was his job to lose. Cassell will play Ponder has missed games due to injury each of the past 6 years.

Actually his best year was 2010 in KC when he had 27 td's and 7 int's. It was his 2'nd year there. then came 2010 and in 2011 he was hurt, and then had a bad year last year.

He's capable, he just needs a chance here, but I'm sure they will give Ponder every opportunity to succeed.

I just thought with the way things went for Ponder last year, the whole deal with him getting married in the middle of the season was weird. It hadto be a distraction, and it was self imposed, and tto me thats like putting yourself before the team. I think there are situations when you need to do that, but rushing into a marriage is not one of them.

He also just doesn't seem to understand where he's at as a QB just isnt enough at this level. Thats just my take on it. i could be off, but I'd be very surprised if he was more then a career backup. Hopefully if thats the case the Vikes will recognize that early this season and go in a different direction.

I seen so many QBs play poor in their first two years Stafford for one & he is also injury prone & take Cam Newton a guy with a big arm that can make all the throws & his team isn't bad but yet Newton hasn't won the games Ponders has. I know this sounds nuts but I would take Ponder over Newton at this point in each of their careers only because Ponder has won more games & he took his team to the playoffs. Does anyone think Newton

I got a phone call & my daughter hit enter before I was done lol anyway I was about to say does anyone think Newton is franchise quarterback He has the passing yards that Ponder don't have but Cam doesn't have the wins Ponders does have, so to this point would you take Cam over Ponder?

I would take Newton in a heartbeat. He doesn't have the wins but he doesn't have AP either.........I'd take MN's defense over theirs also..........

Cam Newton isn't winning because of the offense. If Cam Newton was a Viking with AP we would be unstoppable and YOU know that as a football fan. If Newton has 15 years offensive years like his first 2 he will be in the hall of fame.

Don't listen to the pundits they all thought he would be a flop so they are invested to say bad things to prove them self right.

And YES you are nuts to say you would take Ponder over Newton. Pundits who hate him would call you nuts.

Cam Newton has had statically the greatest first two seasons of any QB in NFL history.

Unless hurt Ponder is the starter he's only getting better. Doesn't have the strong arm like Dante but he has no targets like Mose and Carter either.

AD has the wins, not Ponder.

Cam is in another world over Ponder talent wise, only a complete fool would want Ponder over Cam. The fact I even have to write this makes me laugh and puke at the same time.... it hurts to do that, so just stop.
