My only problem with Teddy Bridgewater is the excuses he made after his pro day. Other than that he is better than any QB we have on our roster.

Oh yeah, Bridgewater may be the most ready right now but if we've seen his best....I don't think it's good enough. Of course, the glove will help in MN cold weather. But 2 years down the road, when they move inside, different story. And Cassel is the starter at present. I just don't see them drafting a QB at 8. Trade down, then MAYBE....I still think CB or LB in rd 1, then QB in 2.
You think the QB needy teams are sold on these QBs? I don't. For the most part, those teams that need QBs are acquiring veterans now. I think that speaks volumes.

I think if Khalil Mack is still on the board the Vikes will take him over one of the QBs maybe take a QB in round two or three. OLB Khalil Mack DE Jadeveon Clowney or ILB C.J. Mosley If all of these guys are off the board I think the Vikes will take QB with their first pick CB Justin Gilbert & CB Darqueze Dennaed are both good but there are many good CBs in this draft if the Vikes pass on them two. Bridgewater looked very good with Jon Gruden He wont start day one but none of the QBs in this draft can start day one. Myself looking at film on all the QBs in this draft I think the Vikes would lucky of Bridgewater drops to them.

Another year and another post of "what the Vikes should do in the draft". Dont worry, I will continue my record of screwing it up.

Your assessment that none of these QBs looks like Day 1 starters is spot-on. Our drafting Ponder has made me gun-shy. Since none of these QBs are sure-fire hall of famers, I'd rather we get the BPA in rd 1. If it turns out that player is indeed a QB, so be it....but don't reach. If all the QBs are still there at 8, trade down because all the needy QB teams have already drafted.
I also agree that there are more CBs available than LBs, so LB should be given 1st consideration...if available. My whole point is to get a player that will give us 5 years of quality playing time.

I been doing a lot of talking a Bridgewater but Manziel looked very good in his pro-day. I wouldn't mind any of the two.. if their on the board still this means the top LBs & DE are gone so I wouldn't hold off on taking one of them QBs The Brown have two first round picks & you know their going to use one of them on a QB so im not all that sure about taking a chance on losing one of them guys & trading back for more picks if it looks like they might get to pick one of them.

Maybe the Brownies pick 2 QB 1st rd. LOL.. Manziel...I just don't know. Can he be a team player or is it all about him? Personally, I hope both Bridgewater and Manziel are gone so we don't have to choose between the 2. You know I am a Carr fan...so there's that. But, for the good of the team, I go BPA and then QB rd 2. Garappollo?

Garappollo, I like the name. Its close to Crapola, I will move him up on my draft list just because of that.

most ready right now is media talk and it makes no sense. The top QB's are the same age meaning Bridgewater, if you believe the most ready stuff, put himself ahead of the other qb's by hard work and the same hard work can keep him at the top.
