Well look at who has the same opinion as me Todd McShay. I said If all three QBs are gone this could happen ESPN NFL draft analysts Mel Kiper and Todd McShay have each rolled out new mock drafts today on ESPN.com . And while Kiper's presents a scenario by which the Vikings could get one of the top quarterbacks available with the No. 8 overall pick (Central Florida's Blake Bortles), McShay's shows what the Vikings could do if the three QBs thought to be at the top of the class (Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater and Bortles) are all gone. Kiper has the Vikings taking Bortles after two teams that need quarterbacks (the Jaguars and Raiders) draft South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins third and fifth overall, respectively. In McShay's version, Bridgewater, Bortles and Manziel go with the third, fourth and fifth picks, leaving the Vikings with Alabama linebackerC.J. Mosley after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers grab Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack with the No. 7 pick.

Either of those scenarios, I'd think, would be ones the Vikings would be willing to accept. Quarterback is such a glaring need for the franchise -- especially now that the Vikings would have to work to re-sign Matt Cassel as a temporary insurance policy -- that they'd welcome a chance to get a young passer with the physical tools of Bortles. But even if the Vikings have that chance, they saw three years ago what can happen when they reach for a quarterback and the decision doesn't pan out. General manager Rick Spielman can't afford to make that mistake again, and getting a dynamic linebacker like Mack or Mosley would also make sense. Mosley comes into the draft with injury concerns, but putting him at weakside linebacker would give the Vikings the kind of aggressive playmaker they've been missing for years.

When will the Vikings perennial rebuilding end? How come other teams are able to put a winning team together?

True it seems like everyother team will rebuild in a year or two & the Vikes never complete theirs. Its always the offensive line needs help or the defensive secondary, Pat willaims is gone & theres no one to replace him or the QB ends up in the bottom three on the NFL. If it isn't one thing its the other. Now I guess its going to be DE now that Allen is going to be a free agent. Once more The Vikes will need a DE just as they was before signing Allen. When will it all stop. Its like a never ending story.

This is my second Mock draft this one the Vikngs skip picking a QB because the Top three is off the board. I think if the top three QBs Manizel Bridgewater & Bortles are off the board by the Vikes pick they will pick a OLB or DE my guess is Jadeveon Clowney if he is still on the board & If not One of the two here OLB Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA Height: 6-4. Or OLB Khalil Mack any of the two would be a good solid pick. I think the Vikes would pass on Carr & not be able to pass him in the second round.. The Vikings met with Carr extensively during the Senior Bowl. He has a good chance of being the next Vikings quarterback. With the Vikings third pick They need a DT & the perfect fit is Daniel McCullers Teams have to double team this guy & he will push the pocket & is able to stop the run. With two third round picks the Vikes need a CB & I still think Terrance Mitchell fits here the guy is a ball hawk. With their 4th pick is the same as my other Mock draft Brother of Jack Duncan TE Joe Don Duncan. He runs clean routes & is hard to cover & has great hands. The 5th round is a perfect time to pick up a little known player WR Brandon Coleman 6ft5 220 lbs This is an incredibly deep receiver class & Coleman is a big physical receiver. Some had said Coleman could have been a first round pick in 2013 But this year he didn't take the next step that people were expecting. He played great in 2013 & his game was a little off this year & this is why he slips into the 5th round. With my 6th pick I have OG Brandon Linder Miami , He is 6ft6 & is a big reason why Hurricanes had a average of 446.8 yards of total offense & 35.9 points a game, Good solid player that plays the pass as good as he plays the run. With the 7th pick I have Strong safety Hakeem Smith 6ft2 tall three year starter at safety. He needs to add pounds he is 179 lbs only but he tackles good & isn't afraid to hit someone.

Still no football comment Chlidress? This is what Mock draft is for idiot! All the experts are making up their Mock Drafts now. I still remember yours last season You know The one with you picking a MLB Saying how in one of the three rounds first second or third the Vikes will draft one. I guess you thought you had to be right not giving just one round that they might take one lol The thing is your pick wasn't a first round MLB & the Vikes never did draft one.. They went with Henderson to start Just as I said they would haha IF you knew anything damn thing about the game you would have seen your pick was a second round projection & Not a first round pick. Hay How did you like Avant pointing that out to you lol I loved it. He made you like the idoit I said you was all along lol Chlidress your Psycho nut case that follows me from page to page Your the Troll of this forum.

The cricket left, too.

This forum is eerily quiet.
