Who still thinks that Webb is a competent backup? I think we we'll look for a QB in the draft for depth and a possibly to challenge Ponder.

Sorry Webb fans I just don't think he has it!

I said it often.Webb is not a Qb.
We need depth and competition at the position.

Bethel-Thompson and I was hoping to see him play almost immediately last night.Webb really sucked.

That was a sorry display of quarterbacking I have seen in a long time. He makes Ponder look like John Elway! I agree with Childress, we need a healthy QB competition. Webb need not apply!

He either needs to go to WR or cut. Webb is not a QB.

On the Bright side.
The defense played great for the most part. You simply can't give Rogers that much time to pick you apart and that much time to wear down the defense. Hence part of having no offense.

Also I think the special teams did about as good a job as can be expected. I would have liked to seen a run back for a touchdown. But it didn't happen. Punt return people were covered very well for the most part.

Also I'm probably gonna get some flack for this one but. I'm glad the Packers didn't "run-up" the score and try to prove some dominance thing. They did what they had to do to win the game and left it on the field. I think it was good sportsmanship on their part.

Since the the Vikings are out of the playoffs, I hope that Green Bay goes the distance. I'd rather be beaten by the Super Bowl Champs than some team that gets wiped out the next game. Might also help in our draft position (IDK).

In closing lets be very very clear about one thing. The Vikings are contenders and were not that far away from going deep into the playoffs. I feel a 1000 times better about this team at the end of this year than I did last year. Add a few key players and cut away some dead weight and were there. Most of the players are in place for us to start a dynasty.

your thoughts......

When Webb tripped over Mathews, It was embarrassing. Nobody was in the room with me and I still had to hide my face in my hands.

Wow, that was horrible. Spielman cut rosenfels so ponder would have no legit competition was the word. I believe that now. How can Webb have gotten worse as a qb? Just cut him.

I was really disappointed griffen didn't get many snaps. First snap I seen him out there he got a sack. Robison was burned on the early td run and then the big naked bootleg by Rodgers where he hit Jones deep. He has no business starting over griffen. Those we game changing failures.

Try sitting at Lambeau watching that thing called Webb at QB. I was shaking my head a lot last night.
Webb has not improved his game one bit, even with a full year of practice. I agree, if he can't play another position, it's time to cut the cord.

Very possibly the team knew it was a lost cause last night. They practice with Webb every day, so most likely they knew what we were in store for before we did.
