Jan 21, 2013 Full story: ESPN 16

As the opponents in Super Bowl XLVII took shape Sunday, it wasn't difficult for an NFC North blogger to envision a long-ago time when one of the most prominent veterans on each team held polar corners of the Minnesota Vikings ' locker room.

No I'm still happy that we sent him packing. It was the correct move for the Vikings and I think it benefited him as well. It told him that he had to be accountable for his actions or lack there of.

How did the vikings benefit from sending Moss to Oakland? We missed out on 70 td's he scored and no viking made up for his lost.

He's tqlking about McKinnie.

Harry, you were right. The Matador destroyed Justin Smith. Also had one bone-head move that could have cost baltimore after the blackout. Glad Baltimore's traditional offense won.

No need to reply to the pixie boy, he can't understand what your saying. His grammer comprehension is terrible.

Kind of a boring game, I thought, for such a close game. No real memorable moments-didn't seem "super", more like regular season slug-out. I should have just stopped watching when they turned out the lights, lol. What did you think?

Going from 28-6 blowout when the lights went out in the 3rd to losing by 3 makes for a boring game that you wished you stopped watching? Saywhuh

IDK it just seemed like Baltimore was gonna pull it out or stay ahead just enough to win (as they did). I think watching the coaches (particularly Jim Harbaugh) was funny.

Did anybody notice his pinky finger? It must have no cartlidge in it to flex the way it did.

Yeah, for instrance, Colin kaepernick went like 0-6 or 0-8 with goal to go. Kaep also threw most of his passes to two guys. Randy Moss was open in the end zone waving his arms & also was wide open on a deep post. Kaepernick's limited as a QB, so i didn't find the offense entertaining. Then, Ray Lewis couldn't play at all. Guy was pathetic out there. Somehow he got credit for 4 passes while getting gashed by slow running backs running straight up the middle. Ravens have terrible receivers, Boldin cant run at all, dropped two easy passes, Ravens could run a bit to the left side of their line behind mcKinney, that was about it & they didn't get in a rythum with that, so it was all flacco & a kick return that played good. Just not memorable. No helmut catch, no victor cruz stuff, no game winning drive. Ed Reed's pick was even easy. We're left at the end of the game watching what Jim Harbaugh did throughout his career as a bear. whining like a little B$%ch for some weak defensive holding call. What a joke. So, all we'll remember is the blackout & how it stabilized the 49rs freefall & cooled the ravens. not a fan of the blackout. so bush league. during the week when beyonce was practicing her halftime show, power blew out twice. but hey, no reqason to look into that. Bush league all the way.

Unreal. Fat, slow, no self-control, the poster boy for Lipitor and a massive stroke waiting to happen.........and now a SuperBowl champion.

I guess he does have some talent after all.

And Moss goes 0 for 2. I guess he wins when he wants to win.
