One less sexual predator in the world. Of course they could've castrated him. That would've been good too!

Castrated and penectomized. Or perform sex-reassignment surgery. Then sentence to live in a bad neighborhood.

"Chavez abducted Jimmy Ryce at gunpoint after the boy got off a school bus on Sept. 11, 1995, in rural Miami-Dade County. Testimony showed Chavez raped the boy, shot him when he tried to escape, then dismembered his body and hid the parts in concrete-covered planters."

I really wish the family could have tortured this sick fk the same way this poor child was murdered.

This one is at our doorstep. Jimmy was my wife's cousin.
It tore their family apart. His sister committed suicide and his mother died of a broken heart.(heart attack)

Though this brings a modicum of closure, it can never bring peace.

Read the heading, then under the heading and I got to ask. What is all that about Dennis Burketts "flipped" stuff?

Missouri is going to bring back the firing squad. That's cost effective.

A shame it takes so long on death row for those truly deserving execution.
More of a shame when they put innocent people to death.
Touchy subject ... pardon the pun.

What? What exactly are you saying here? Help an ignorant soul out here, will ya?

**At their doorstep? Jimmy? Tore family apart understandable and tragic the suicide and moms death. Tragic, nothing other.

How affordable is castration? Make 'm eunuchs, send them away for long time and let them be raped by the bigger boys in there.

Topix sometimes puts the lede of one story under another by mistake, and sometimes they recycle message boards. So it gets confusing when there are two different stories involved.

Sad to hear that, and you are right, punishment, or even revenge, can never bring anyone back nor undo any tragedy.

The problems are infinite with this...
I'd like comment on your castration comment. I'd long felt it appropriate to leave their testicles but remove their ( let me use your words) "rape tool" and desensitize all other erogenous zones. Let them still have their sexual desires but no way to express or satiate them. Let their own weapon torture them... Maybe we can build special cell's in the city sewers to lock them and forget about them the best we can.. Let them be eaten alive by the rat's and when the muscular atrophy sets in...
Let the P.O.S.'s grave be where the sht belongs...
They have physically and psychologically tortured someone in one of the worst of ways.. Let's return the favors.
You know what makes it even more disgusting? The fact that many paedophiles believe their actions are out of love....SMH

I wasn't the one who said to just castrate. I was thinking a double cure. Remove the desires and the means to fulfill. And I threw out the possibility of SRS surgery.

While I like the thought behind your approach, it can set up a dangerous situation. Rapists may use objects when they are sexually frustrated or unable to perform. And on rare occasion, when women are motivated the same way as male forcible rapists, they will use objects or weapons too. So someone without a penis with enough rage to rape will not be above murdering someone with many thrusts of a knife. In Freudian psychology, a knife could represent a penis, so viciously stabbing someone with a knife could serve the same psychological role as rape.

The above was on the first Law & Order: SVU episode. The SVU was calling to a scene of a vicious stabbing. The first responding officer said the SVU was called in because the person had been stabbed multiple times with a knife, possibly indicating deep sexual insecurity (or not having a penis). One of the SVU detectives said, "And sometimes a cigar is just a cigar," quoting what was falsely attributed to Freud. Then the first responder answered that saying, "Yes, but in this case, someone sliced off our victim's 'cigar' and took it with them." At the end, it was revealed that it was rape victims of this guy who did this.

Also on the same episode of SVU was the part where Det. Munch was in court for an exhibitionist case. The lawyer was tearing Munch apart, all but calling him a pervert for taking the job and said he must have taken it because of his "shortcomings." That was when Much flipped the attorney's statement around against the defendant. "Well, your client was the one displaying his shortcomings all over town." That won the case for the prosecution because the defendant became irate, apparently dropped his pants in court, and was exclaiming, "See! This isn't short!" The jury saw all they needed to send him to the mental hospital. Munch's credibility was not an issue if the defendant was committing the same crime he was charged with in court.

Yes, it is sickening that pedophiles (and some rapists, and mass-murdering psychopaths who also rape) claim their actions are out of "love." Even sadder is that their victims sometimes believe it too. On the NAMBLA site, a survivor told in a story published there how he really loved having an older boyfriend until his parents "hatefully" had his boyfriend sent to prison. It sent him into depression, and he claimed his parents' action was what left the emotional scars, not the sex that he claimed was mutual.

As for locking them with the rats, what if the sicko molests them?

I'm not saying to release them after we do it. Still lock them up with no human contact or way to pleasure themselves. Hell their hands were "rape tools" as well. Cut them off with the other one. I think they deserve a psychological aspect to their punishment.
Plus, Freudian psychology is pretty much all BS.
I don't really care about sewer rats enough to care about that possibility. They will eat the waste of flesh fairly quickly. Fact: Rats will often start eating you while your asleep. People with rat infestations commonly wake with rat bites were they took pieces of flesh to eat. Uhhh... makes your spin crawl thinking bout that doesn't it?
I appreciate your SVU analogy, but I got to say it. I absolutely hate that show. The characters are so damn corny and the writing and acting is horrible. One of the worst scripted shows on TV in my opinion..More power to ya' if you like it, but I just couldn't bite my lip. All the old women in my family talk about it all the time. Aww crap I'm going off topic, sorry.

I don't think all of Freudian psychology is BS, but some certainly is, and he and his youngest daughter had a poor track record. They probably had the most suicides on their watch. I am not sure I believe in the part about the Oedipus stage of child development. I think his contemporary, Karen Horney had a better grasp of things and filled in some major gaps in his theories and expanded things. If you want to talk about bad therapists, there are all the sexologists, and most well known ones from Kinsey (discovered to have falsified his data on a number of studies and picked the 10% gay number out of thin air) to Green (forced reparative therapy on minors who seemed gender atypical to "prevent homosexuality"), to Money (prescribed forcing a toddler victim of a botched circumcision to be castrated and raised as a girl, it was a failure and he announced it as a success - a little over a decade ago, that former patient committed suicide), to Michael Bailey (the professor who invited a couple to have sex using power tools in front of his class, and who allegedly slept with a preop transsexual in exchange for giving her surgical clearance letters he didn't even have authority to give) and Ray Blanchard (who came up with a degrading theory about transsexualism and helped with Bailey's book that attacked transsexuals using Blanchard's pseudoscience).

I watched all the SVU episodes on Netflix a couple of times. I actually enjoyed it. But, I do have to admit that Richard Belzer (Det. Munch on a handful of cop shows) makes a better actor than a comedian. He is a professional comic, and from what I heard and read, quite a raunchy one.

I was joking about the rats. Such a guy might attempt to mess with a couple of them but they would get him eventually. It would be poetic if they bit in certain areas first. And your thinking about removing hands is not too far off from Bible thinking. "If thy right hand offendeth thee (eg., cause you to sin), cut it off and cast it from thee..." "If thy right eye offendeth thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee..."

I'd have to say...... I pretty much agree...
Except for SVU not going to knock you for liking it. But Belzer is probably the only guy on the show who I think has any talent.. Actor and Comedian.. Analytical, sarcastic, cynical, slightly apathetic, with a tinge of ambivalent misanthropy. Not unlike myself at times. Mariska Hargitay is the worst on that show.. She annoys the hell out of me... I've seen very few episodes I could say I at all enjoyed.

Hey, some of the pervs do themselves in or deserve a Darwin. Like the guy who supposedly put peanut butter on meat on his junk to try to get the dog to do a certain thing to him. Instead, the dog chomped down. So punishment is inherent to the offense.

And a wild urban legend is the guy who spent his breaks at work getting "intimate" with the equipment. One day, he wasn't careful and got half of his scrotum caught between the belt and pulley of the running motor. Then dummy grabs an industrial stapler to staple himself back together, and gets back to work as if nothing happened. You can probably guess what happened about 2-3 days later. He had a hell of an infection and finally went to the hospital. Oh, and the doctor even wrote about the case in a medical journal. I wonder if any coworkers ever found his testicle...
