Line of Scrimmage: Sentimentality aside, Colts made right move

Sentamentality aside, Peyton Manning made the right move -- out of Indianapolis. I'm sure he wants another chance for a Championship, and it wasn't going to happen for him there.

I think this was a good move by both parties. Manning needs to go to a team with a chance to vie for a championship. I think the sleeper team could be the Kansas City Chiefs. The Colts could simply not afford to keep him. If Luck is as good as a prospect as people are saying then he could be their franchise QB for years to come. However, as we know all to well, spending time behind one of the best QB's in the NFL is not all bad.

The NFL is a business. There is nothing wrong with that. I agree that Manning moving on is the best thing for both him and the Colts. IMHO it is the best for both from a business AND football point of view. I see most people seem to believe Miami is the most likely destination for Manning. I tend to agree and I think that would be a good fit. Certainly, the Chiefs would also be a pretty good fit, but I think they are considered a "sleeper" for a reason.
