Opening day quarterback changes on the horizon for these NFL team

In today's NFL, it has become rather simple: if you don't have a big-time quarterback, you're not going to win a Super Bowl.

It has been solid passing games that win these days but they would all have a reliable running back to eat the clock when neccessary.

In my opinion, the NFL has become more pass friendly because defensive backs can't play a physical in coverage as they used to like in the days of Deion Sanders, Terry McDaniel, Rod Woodson, and Ronnie Lott (just to name a few). In that era was when the running game became more effective because the DBs were playing so physically tough and it was hard for receivers to get open.

Now days, DBs can barely touch the WRs which allows them to get open easier and the passing game is more effective.

The run is still defended the same way it always was...plus if you touch certain QBs (Brees, Brady, either of the Mannings, Rodgers, Rivers to be specific) you still get penalized for roughing the passer. Other QBs are only that fortunate when playing the Raiders...Big Ben was in a game where they BROKE HIS NOSE on a late hit and no flags were thrown (and he surprisingly returned). Plus Rich Gannon was speared by Siragusa's helmet in the AFC championship in the 2000-01 playoffs which in my eyes cost us a superbowl!!!

i guess the point of it all was that they wanted more scoring in the nfl. that set up all the rules that are there. and? have now became even more tiddius. but the passing game is stronger than ever. some, like roger goodell, and some say he is doing a good job. players are half and half on his new rules. fans don't care much for him. i personally think he is doing ok. just ok, we gotta get used to change. that bounty hunting thing is an eye opener. im pretty much sure many teams used it without paying players, just "different terms". but before that players were already getting penalized for late hits and tackling helmet first. those calls are hard to pin point and at times controversial but you know when players are out to hurt somebody. n suh of the lions was one that had to learn the hard way but he did. maybe not 100% but at least he knows not to. i love old style old school football but for players safety because of cheep shots you don't want to see a player go down. we just have to adjust. it's not the 60's 70's or 80's and 90's anymore. it is what it is! i know one thing for sure, THE GAME WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM THE RAIDERS, AND THAT'S FOR SURE!
