who cares? he has already made that team worse by just signing with them. I wonder if he dropped the pen before he signed the contract

Good for him, he always got the raw end of the deal between fans. Not as bad as many think, better than most....still has time to develope and build confidence.

It's Kevin Walter who's the receiver from Libertyville, not Ken Curtis. Ken Curtis was Festus on "Gunsmoke," not exactly an NFL receiver.

should have went to Denver, atleast there he would stand a good chance to start instead of being a 3rd stringer on Houston

He never got a raw deal from the fans... He played like a champ for about half a season and the fans loved him and looked forward to a long healthy RG career in Chicago. Shortly after that, his play went to HELL and the fan's response was completely appropriate.

No, the defense took us to the Super Bowl in spite of RG's poor play that started about midway through that season.

Houston, I wish you luck... Hopefully you will never have to use RG in a game situation.(Unless he makes VAST improvements to his basic quarterback skills and finally learns to keep his head in the game.)

Rex will really cause more pain than good. Hate to say it but he's bound to either fumble, trip, or run into a defender. Sad really.

Good for Rex!!!!
I'm happy with Jay, but Rex got a bum deal in Chicago. He is easily good enough to be a number 2 on almost any team and it shouldn't have taken this long to find a job. What are the Bears going to do if Cutler gets hurt? That's going to be scary, because there is no real contingency plan...

Truth is you just don't really know that much about football if you can't understand the reasons grossman struggled at times. Second of all youre not a real Bears fan if you don't appreciate what Rex did for the Bears. In his first full season by far, he took us to a 7-0 start and the superbowl. The only thing grossman lacked is playing time due to injuries, which contributed to his poor decision making at time. He was never short on talent.

The Bears never make it to the SB in 06 without Rex and that's all there is to it. He made a lot of plays in the playoffs that year. The Bears have had a dominant defense for a long time, but how many super bowls have they been to? That's what I thought.

Schaub has had problems staying healthy. Make sure you're prepared when the opportunity arises, Rex.

Rex can't be much worse than Sage running the ball jumping in the air with a lead and fumbling to help INDY get back in the game and winning. Should be able to develop with Kubiak and this staff.

Rex is not our quarterback... thank god!

If this guy was so good & he got a RAW DEAL why is he only getting backup money & a backup position. The bottom line is this guy, due to being
immobile, is not starter material.
If anything he got a great deal becuase he had a coach like Lovie Smith backing his dead weight up at all times. The fans were mad at Lovie
for not making a change sooner. Since Rex was on the field he was the one that got booed.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
