We better take this guy before somebody else does. He played TE at Midland Lee in HS and is extremely athletic...Moved to tackle in college due to putting on the weight.

RT isn't our biggest "need" but it's a position we've needed ever since Barnes took over. Winston is a great player and having him on the right side with Brisiel might be great but....

1. Can we afford him? How much of the contract is KC picking up? I don't think our biggest signing should be at RT--we need too much on D.

2. Brisiel came in and was supposed to be great but wasn't......and we ran a ZBS!! If we switch to PBS, our entire right side would be learning a new system. It's not that they couldn't learn PBS, it's just that I wouldn't pin my hopes to it.

Either way, Winston would be waaaay better than Barnes. He would improve the O-line, I have no doubt......but at what cost?

Since he was released, I don't think his value is that high, so I would hope he would come here cheap. However, with the Houston connections gone, I don't know that he would want to come here. Either way I do want him here.

The new Raiders GM is slower than he looks so far not very impressed with his non signings and the direction the team is going from a 8-8 to 4-12 is a joke Dennis Allen is a joke we could have had J Del Rio as our head coach instead of letting him go to Denver for their DC position . Ted Thompson is the reason for Green Bay success not Reggie he was riding Teds coat tail and getting him coffee.

His non signings are methodical. He isn't looking for the big splash player. He is looking for diamonds in the rough. He has made it clear he is cap conscious. So he will move slow. And it will take time. But hopefully he will build a winner. It just won't be as fast as we would like.
