Trade Tarvaris to Detroit. So what if they are a division rival. He won't help them understand the Vikings offense, after 3 years he still doesn't understand it himself.

"He's had an up-and-down career," one of the executives diplomatically said.

Diplomatically is right... must have missed the "up" part. Face it, T-Joke's only possible contribution at the NFL level would be as a poor man's Michael Vick, running a handful of Wildcat plays per game.

Jackson not a football player. TJacks trade value sits EXACTLY where his draft status was....a number 5 pick at best.

Hopefully you meant 5th round. Personally, I think that's a bit high. If there was still a 12 round draft, I still don't think another team would have taken him.

To RosenXYZ:
Seriously guy, I'm betting the bank that you are just another Packer Fan in that "Clingy Girlfriend" mindset that has uttered such comments in private such as "<SNIFF> If the Packers can't have Brett,*then nobody can...*" and now you are in the "Fatal Attraction" mode of your psychosis. And posting the same message over and over again is nearing the abuse policy. Brett is a guy, who likes to play football and he wants to go out in a John Elway fashion, on top of his game. He's not getting that in New York, nor Green Bay. His best option at this time, and every analyst out there today agrees with this statement, is the Minnesota Vikings. Sorry to cut you so deep here but get over it already.

I don't know why people hate T-Jack so much? Have you forgotten final few games last season and how he lead us to div championship? In the Playoff against chilly's old philly .. he had one pick return for a TD but other than that he did ok .. it was stupid matt birk who made the horrible mistake at the end and throw the ball at T-jack's foot instead of his hand ... keep j-jack and send SR back to TX plzzz

Who cares what Fran thinks. He sounds like a bitter old man that has been terribly upstaged by a real legend. If he has our best interest at heart....he should be excited that this might actually be our Super Bowl year. The most suspect position we had was QB. Brett gives us a solid performer to compliment the other offensive weapons. Fran......can you show us your Super Bowl ring? Brett has his!

Hey think of it this way,

if the Viqueens win the SuperBowl,
it was because of former PACKERS!!!

Is there anymore original Vikings players
and coaches not related to GB Packers anymore??

They should be called the Minnesota Packers!!!

10 and 10 about describes the career of T-Jack....Up and down....plain AVERAGE. The kid has a lot of raw talent, but he has to learn to be more accurate with his passes. Until then, he will remain an AVERAGE QB in the west coast offense. In another system? Who knows?

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
