Raiders' Season Come Down to 1 Game Against Texans

Oct 7, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Silver And Black Pride

It is downright stupid to say any team's season comes down to one Week 5 game. That is just going way to far for one game this early in the season.

Without Al the Raiders are..................I don't know what they will become. I do not have high hopes for his son or any of the Raider exec's being capable of operating a competitive team. I'm afraid we Raider fans are going to see even worse days ahead.

if they let hue jackson do his job and seperate front office with the field we'll be fine. "i hope"!

One thing is for sure, you won't be able to replace Al's knowledge of the game. He was a football genius. That said, if Mark lets Hue coach AND is supportive when deciscions are made, I think we will be alright. A GM could be great if we get a good one. Could also be a mess if we get an idiot.

I sort of agree with the article. Texans was kind of a must win. Not just because of playoff potential...but also because it was kind of a statement game...that we will be alright. Mark Davis...looked nervous(rightfully so) and then relieved when we won. Again a statement from the Raiders. I hope Maark doesn't sell. He can win if he has a third the fire and intelligence his dad did.

I've been thinking the same thing. But I've also been thinking worse like we could be seeing THE END of the Oakland Raiders. However, like Misterio said, I think we'll be all right as long as they let Hue Jackson do his job and keep the office separate from the field.

I really don't know what Mark plans on doing with the team, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sells it.

at this point i feel we are going to need a (gm)! john madden would be first on my list because he has the RAIDER heart. but, many years out of the leauge? it's not like madden has really left football either.if he can create a pro team like he does in his games he may still have it.
MARK DAVIS has to get rid of that dunb and dumber bowl cut! just so that he looks smart. slick that hair back like his daddy. he has to get respect or?
i would say TOM FLORES for gm as well but you know how his stuff went in seattle! that would probably be a no. but who knows?
AMY TRASK? then there are those past RAIDERS still hangin around the RAIDERS org. if we go that route with a gm which i think at this poit we will p r o b a bly will need, i'd probably start with madden? mark davis don't look like he'll cut it. i don't think he was deeply involved in the operations?
RAIDERS 2011!!! IN MEMORY, AL DAVIS!
