He better be ready for having a crappy QB throwing him the ball. That will certainly be new for him.

Better to have a crappy QB throwing him the ball with the best player in NFL running and the top young defense over the best QB in football with nothing else.

OMG I didn't realize how bad the Vikings are! The crap Vikings can't even beat a team that has nothing but a QB. WOW. That is frickin bad! Thanks for telling me. Coming from a Viking fan it must be true.

Apparently, these Vikings' fans do not think before they speak. What a foolish comment he made.

You would think that having the top NFL running back and a young defense you might have something to show for it. Same 'ol Vikings!

They do have something. They have a second place finish in the division and an ass-whooping by the Packers in the playoffs. By Viking standards, that is bragging time! ROFLMAO

Of course. Foolishness is something they need and depend on. Logic and reason will lead them to places they don't want to go.

The same butt monkey tried to tell me about MN being the ‘best young defense’ just last week. After I posted the FACTS about the best young defense he quickly turned his tail and ran. GB beat them in pretty much every defensive category last year and their many defensive rookies dominated other teams in playing time. Now they come into this season young and experienced!

Viking fans are full of wishful thinking and hopes and dreams the vikings cannot live up to. I think they love the offseason more than any other team. They should because the regular season is not so pleasant.

This is what the butt monkey does after knowing he was defeated by FACTS on the other thread. He didn't even bring 1 fact to back up is load of crap ass wishful thinking.

Rodgers and a younger more experienced defense that improved from 31 to 11 and out preformed the vikings so called young defense. I have the FACTS if you want to see them AGAIN! Really it is not trouble to copy and paste them on this thread. Last time you didn't even attempt to try and dispute my facts, wanna try it on this thread? hmmm?

I didn't think so ;)

GBP, when you say "viking fans" please dont lump us together with the two main morons on this forum ( you know who ). Some of us are a little more realistic and see a bigger picture with our favorite team. But you cant blame us for having hopes every year, every fan usually does. Me for instance, viking fan for 43 years, suffered through multiple super bowl losses, play-off and championship losses, and new and seemingly impossible ways to give a game away. That my friend is either a die-hard, faithful fan or insane ( definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome, aka viking football ). But go ahead and keep shooting the other two down, it makes for a humorous read. Like I tell eric, cant wish the pack good luck, just heres to an interesting season...let the games begin!

Point taken, you are right not all viking fans are like the other (2) rejects here. I actually get along with most very well. I know plenty of great viking fans as I am originally from MN (first 25yrs of life).
I won't wish the vikes luck either but can I wish you luck and some type of enjoyment following them. The end of the metrodump is near and new stadium on the way... maybe it will bring good fortune. It sure as sh** can’t hurt!

btw
you wrote -- either a die-hard, faithful fan or insane -- very funny stuff! and I think it is a messed up combination of all three :) Why try and choose when all fit?:)

I realize that many Viking fans are reasonable and realistic. I know some and grew up with quite a few. However, I can't resist giving the irrational ones a hard time. The notion that Aaron Rodgers is the Packers is especially irritating to me. I don't see ANY quarterback that way. One of the great things about football is that it is the ultimate TEAM game, with 22 players on the field at any time, and dozens of players for each team playing every game. No one player makes a team. So if some fan wants to claim that their team has been getting beat by one Packer player, I will go along, even if I don't actually buy it. If a person wants to insist their team is that bad, I'll let them have their way.

I too can't wish a division opponent luck, especially this year as I suspect that the Vikings may need a little less of it this season. But I can tell you to enjoy! I do think it will be interesting and exciting. There does seem that our division may have more parity than in recent years. It should make for a good race.

It happens as often as we encounter Viking fans that aren't jealous idiots. In other words, it happens VERY rarely.
