5 years 110M If thats right, thats more cap friendly then we thought,so theres another great point here!
I have a feeling ( although nothing to back it up BUT) they will add the new deal to his current deal which as 2 years left on it,making it more cap friendly ( Hopefully)

21 Million a year, ouch.
Is he worth it? he has proven to be, but 21 Million a year will hamstring Thompson for the forseable future, especially when you factor in Clay. Can GB win with a two man team on a consistent basis? We're about to find out. Now I know why they are bringing Jolly back, his price is right.

TT proves his ignorance once again. One dimensional Clay Matthews a huge contract? Could have picked a couple of quality players via free agency for the same amount. As far as Rodgers, no one single player is bigger than the Pack organization, needs to pick it up in the playoffs ASAP.

Yep,almost Free! and im not being a wise ass.Jolly is making 700K or so. Thing is,AR is being front loaded and GB has a lot of room,so they are eating it this year.Clay is eating a bit more each year but AR is getting front loaded huge this year coming up ( from what ive heard so far, but, things change as we know)
NOW is AR worth 21M ( although i believe its 22M) but again,im thinking they will add it to his current deal so it may lower it and you may be right!)
anyway! 21M yes and NO,,21M is a TON of cash, but, YES if Flacco is worth 20M,then Rodgers is def. worth 21-22M,in fact, he may be worth a few million MORE then that if Flacco is worth his..Flacco is getting a few Million more then what hes worth and that threw a bit of shit off for everyone.*(of course the last part was my opinion)

I think you are correct Eric, the Flacco deal cost the Pack a lot of cash, maybe Thompson would have been wise to consumate Aaron before Flacco signed his mega deal, that would have helped Baltimore too by not overpaying for Flacco. Flacco isn't in Rodgers class, just goes to show what a Super Bowl can do for the winning QB. Of course Joe thinks/says he is in the same class as Aaron.

Now we can fiqure Matt Ryan ATL will be signing something in the near future as well. You are right,Ted should have signed Rodgers first but GB had to free up some cash ( cutting Woodson,Hawk taking a pay cut to help out ect). Flacco threw alot of stuff out of whack for sure
Next year will be interesting in Green Bay land.A pile of FA and a few ( im sure) wont be back so that frees up some serious cash and they will need it.
SO, how are you enjoying your Minnesota draft? Plenty of action last night, not so much today.
Hows the family? Hope all is well with you and yours!

Big ? will Clay Hair or Gay Rod ever re-do these to help out the team. With the price for his hair treatment and Gay Rods use of condoms (for his roomate) the answer will be NO for both.
