Absolutely. Dump KGB's overpaid salary and get two legitimate all-pro pass rushers. Someone will be double teamed on each play. Add our depth at Tackle and we have a legit force upfront.
Remember what happened the last time the Pack signed a veteran free-agent defensive end?

Jason Taylor absolutely~~!!!! but where do you play him? Kampman,Jenkins on the ends and Taylor and KGB as backups? THat would make the most expensive backups in History, because you cant get rid of KGB,yes he makes a ton of cash, but, he puts up starter numbers and its going to cost you more to replace him and those numbers.

ok there is good and bad with this move. first off you wouldnt have to get rid of any of those players because you would have JT and Kampman on the ends and have jennkins and jolly play the tackles on passing downs and kgb a back up.
and on the other hand that would be a boat load of money for our d-line.

He does get paid a ton, but,we have to spend a certain amount, and we are way below where your supposed to spend. the cap is 119 and every team needs to spend around 105 mil min.and i bet we are at 90 mil at most and as soon as Favre finally files his retirement papers then we are 15 mil or so even lower.
I wonder if hes having second thoughts, and thats why he didnt fill out the papers? If he comes oput of retirement and signs with NO or ATL,i wonder what compensation we will get for him , since he is a memgber of the packers until he signs his retirement papers?

Yeah ive been so busy. And not really able to use my phone since I broke it and have been using this crappy nokia. but im glad to see some of the good ones are still here. nice to see you all. Cant wait for next season. ive always been the favre fan so im even more excited about next year I cant wait to see the new era.

Jason Taylor at a good price do it. I guess. KGB is a back up 3rd down End so why not put him and taylor on the ends on 3rd and normals in the middle sounds pretty scary for passing situations to me.

I hope he doesnt pull a montana and play for another team. besides his chemistry is with jennings, driver etc. not sure why he would go somewhere else to re learn everyones style.

BTW how long did it take others in his postiotn tofill out the paperwork?

Honestly BT i dont know how long it took others, but, this seems unusually long,as we hear about retirements all the time, and hardly ever hear he didnt sign his papers yet ect.
Yes hes said i only want to play with the packers, but,if he loves the game like he does, hes a gamer and will feel the itch come July or Aug and he still hasnt sign his papers? if Montana,Michael Jordan,Magic Johnson, ect all come out of retirment, who says Favre wont, and im not sure if it would be with the Packers,AR is ready to go,and im sure MM has been coaching AR since this retirment happened and will continue grilling AR for the next few months and all of a sudden Favre wants back? i dont think that would happen here, also hes an upgrade from any qb N.O. and or ATL have on the roster, and its close to home for him as well.

I could see him coming back and I could see him going to a different team because I think tt and mm are to far along with AR to go back now... The future is here boys and im glad the change came... I was worried about the change and hurt that favre left but the pain has subsided and Im glad we are moving on and even with an Arron Rodgers we still have the best qb in the division... On a side note how sick would it be if favre went to oakland... AHEM star wars reference{It would be like he went to the dark side} I would buy his jersey in a heartbeat.

Thats exactly my point Joe. Everyone says how Favre loves football,is compettive, ect and then in the next breathe says no way hes coming back, and im not completely convinced hes not coming back, and there will be a time when the media reports and Favre confirms hes looking at playing for someone.Rodgers has waited, studied, and has been working with MM for 3 years now,and hes busting his hump during the offseason getting ready for the seaosn and yes i agree, they are to invested in AR to go back to BF and im very fine with that as im sure you all know.

How about this, Favre doesn't file retirement papers, AR starts the first 4 games, has a minor hamstring pull in the 3rd game. Packers annouce Favre is back on the roster. Aaron goes 2-1, gets injured in the 3rd quarter of the fourth game, Favre comes in, brings the team back from a 17 point deficit, wins the game, and starts for the Pack the last 12 games, goes to the playoffs, and wins the SB.

Just kidding guys, AR is going to do just fine.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
