The game is almost here.Green Bay has won 7 of the last 8,Cutler has had over a 80qb rating vs GB only once ( as a Bear) and that was the win.
THE Bears lead the overall series 82-76-6.
Cutler wished the Packers luck,He stated they have some Dudes blah,blah,blah....wished the Packers luck being aggressive vs the WR ect
Marshall also "welcomed" physical coverage at the line ect ect.
SO they are confident and ready to go
( got info from an ESPN article)...
SO,lets do it and see if Cutler and Marshall are right!!!!

Eric, to me this is a very important game. Packers will dig themselves a big hole if they don't come away with a win against the Bears. I am just not sure what to make of this defense and was definetly not encouraged by what I saw against the 49ers. Too much of the success of the Packers weighs heavily on Aaron Rodgers' shoulders. They need to step it up in all areas of the team to get to the playoffs.

This game is huge.A loss puts them 2 behind Chicago early and they have the tie breaker.Woodson seems to think it will be ok,the youngsters will have to play better MD Jennings is replaced at Safety by McMillian the rookie from Maine, hopefully Nick Perry with a game behind him, wont be quite as nervous, know what to expect a bit more ect.
Jennings being out isnt great, but Cobb,Nelson,Jones and id imagine Driver will get playing time this time, HOPEFULL Finley wont drop passes and maybe we can get lucky and Crabtree can impress and get more snaps.
Cedric Benson, after his 8 carry 16 yards vs SF,hopefully will have a better game and esp. vs CHicago! When Chi.cut him loose in 08,he (in Cin) put up 170+ yards on 35 or so carries, not that he will do that tommorow, but,it would be nice to see him have a nice game.
IF they lose to Chicago tomarrow,a division title will be a bit tough, not impossible.I do agree the defense was a bit off,but again,i expect them to improve and Cutler hasnt had a whole lot of success vs GB,so we will see if Cutler can turn that around.Since he and Marshall both seem very confident and Cutler with his good luck comment to the Packers secondary and Marshall welcomes man coverage and physical play ect.Chi. de.line isnt nearly as good as SF,so running it shouldn't be as bad and Rodgers has had some good games vs Chi.I think GB will win it,its very important game, division game, div. title hunt, tie breaker ramifications and straightening the ship, not to mention Chi ( as we know) is a huge rival and its time to cut into Chi.6 game lead head to head.92 years and Chi.has a 6 win lead

Finley has had great games vs the Bears so I think that will be a big factor in this game. But Chicago should have a good run game seeing how much yards GB run D gave up to SF.

In my opinion in order to stop the bears is to BLITZ.I'm not saying all the time but enough times to throw off cutlers rythem.
If you give Cutler all day long in the pocket with no pressure, the Bears will score at will.
To me in this game- the Pack have to Blitz.I know it makes the secondary a bit more open but as you know- our secondary isnt THE GREATEST to begin with. Get to Cutler fast before he gets a chance to throw.Rattle Cutler and he will give you that deer in the headlights look and mess up like crazy.
Another key is try to get the takeaways. The combination of Williams and Collins use to do a great job at that(the 2010 season).
Get in front of the receivers before they get a chance to catch.Read into cutlers eyes .
If the Pack can be successfull at all this, we will win.

I do wonder if GB will try to control the clock more.Run Benson more to establish the run, throw shorter timing pattern type passes and dump offs.Higher % type, move the chain and run long drives a yard at a time, eat clock, score and keep Chi offense and Our defense on the sidelines.
I do know,if Cutler starts rolling, they will score,if you get inside Cutlers head, out of rythem, hit him a few times, he will make some mistakes or rattle him like Packman said.
Cutler has had some very low qb ratings game vs GB so its possible

He is matchup hell for defense, but, he drops way to many passes.Running game is a key, yes, your right there.I believe SF oline is better then Chi. and you cant get better then Gore,so that may make it easier for GB but,if Chi oline plays well,Forte may have a big night. As long as GB can keep either Forte or Cutler from making that big play or 2,i think GB can be ok.Interesting fact,Matt Forte is the Bears leading reciever over the past few games between the 2, so GB has done a nice job covering Chicago WR for Forte to be its leading reciever,Now, Chi didnt have Marshall or the rookie,so they are better now id imagine then they were.I would hope GB would win because its more important for GB to stay in the division race and or playoff race then it is for Chicago to win and get a 2 game lead.0-2 is a tough spot to be in,so IMO GB is in a more desperate situation and the game is more important, although Chicago knows a win puts them basically 3 games ahead of GB.Going to be fun for sure!!!!

I believe so.Thats my opinion of course.Gore is a very good back.Never said Forte sucks or is average or didnt mean that.Simply put,Gore and Forte are very good backs, i just believe Gore is a better back OR at the very least equal.Like i said, its hard to be better then Gore.( Unless your Adrian Peterson of course)

Eric you have to throw the recent past out with the Bears. Instead of having Johnny Knox and Devin Hester as wideouts (midgets) you now have Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey, two big fast physical receivers. Marshall was Cutlers security blanket out here in Denver and that will happen again in Chicago. Then guess what? The pass opens up the run for Forte. Could be a long night because the Bears are a very different team
