just like number 12 mrs Rodgers, put your money up on these statements.

was so sure his buddy on the Milwaukee Brewers, Ryan Braun, didn't use performance-enhancing drugs, that he told a skeptical Twitter follower last February that he would put his money where his mouth was.

Huh? What does Aaron's belief in his friend have to do with the playoffs this season? Are all of you Viking fans irrational, illogical idiots?

BTW I have done quite nicely betting on the Packers the last few seasons. In fact, I've done pretty well over the last few decades! How are you doing betting on the Vikings? ROFLMAO

I am originally from MN and have many viking fans who are friends. I used to make a killing and quite a bit of money betting on the Packers. After 2011 I can’t get any of them to bet with me anymore.... unless they get the Packers ;)

I know what you mean. My Viking friends won't bet anymore either. I still win money from fans of other teams though. Some people do believe in their team. It just so happens that those people aren't Viking fans. Mostly I bet with a bookie or casino. Viking fans like to talk, but few of them ever put their money where their mouth is.

True they love to talk but very few will bet. The last viking fan that was even willing to bet me was only willing to wager a Diet Squirt. It was outstanding btw!

Just tell them to put their money where their mouth is, or put their mouth where your ass is!:)

I dont see this happening for many years if ever. The Packers are a skeleton of the team they used to be.THe oline is in shambles and the dline is cookie-cutter still trying to figure it out.The safeties are below average. The kicker is past his prime. The Pack are in rebuild.

Ahhh PB thanks for joining us. We were just talking about you and the other butt monkeys around here that are afraid to place their bet on Packers and vikings. I am still game for the bet if you ever grow a sack and place your money where your mouth is. You sound so sure of yourself but until then talk is just viking poop.

They aren't only stupid and envious, they are also wimpy cowards! So far the only person to bet with you was a POS liar that welched on the bet, so don't hold your breath waiting for a REAL wager. I don't even know why you bother trying. No bet is a real wager unless you can count on the other person to pay! And you obviously can't count on any Viking fan to bet or to pay. They ACT like they believe in their team, but they don't.

San Francisco is the best of the NFC, this season....only the Seahawks might challenge them....Harbaugh, all that talent and the biggest,"We Lost the Superbowl" chip on all their shoulders.....Even the homers have to realize this.....

There is a reason why the 49ers are the favorite in Vegas. However, there is also a reason why they play the games. Most years, the last representative in the Super Bowl is the favorite, and justifiably so. However, more often than not, that team does not win the Conference. In the NFL, being the best team at the end of the last season or the start of a season, doesn't always mean being the best by season's end.

Also, it has been shown many times, that great young teams have to lose one, before they can win it........losing it, is likely the best motivation of all....

I doubt that motivation is the key to winning a Super Bowl. I would credit experience more! Last year is probably a perfect example of the difference experience makes. The Ravens definitely had the edge in playoff experience. In any event, I bet Jim Harbaugh is a pretty good motivator, with or without a Super Bowl loss.

Another 49er tore up his knee today...These training camp injuries are mounting up all over...I see the Bronco's signed another good center, to replace their injured starter......Hall of Fame game is Saturday?...Can't wait....BTW, wish Alex Karras was getting enshrined....

The NFL season isn't just a gruelling 16 or 20 week ordeal. As the trainng camp injuries prove every season, NFL players face six to seven months of substantial injury risk. Not to mention the risk of training in the offseason.

Maybe you should apply that theory to the NFC North as well.

There is no need for a theory about the NFC North. The Packers are clearly the favorite and have been the dominant team in the division for decades. Whine and cry about it all you want, but you chicken-shit Viking fans will never put your money where your mouth is because you know that the Vikings aren't as good as the Packers. ROFLMAO

Clearly the favorite until Sharon lost her left tackle that is. Now she'll be in the fetal position faster than Claude Lemieux in a Red Wings game
