Say Cheese #4

On Monday December 13, 2010 Brett Favre stopped his streak of over 320 games in a row (297 regular season consecutive starts plus playoff starts). He was unable to play the game due to a shoulder injury and no feeling in his hand. And that streak will probaly never be beaten.
He is a living NFL legend and Super Bowl winner. He has played on 3 NFL teams. But it was the Green Bay Packers where he played his first game and spent the majority of his career.
In fact it was the early 1990s in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals when the starting quarterback was injured and backup Brett Favre put his helmet on and came running onto the field and led his team to a victory. That began the Favre era for Green Bay. It lasted for about 15 years.
A one of a kind player, Favre's dedication to the game of football is what made him a legend and gave him that streak. He would play with injuries and even during difficult circumstances such as the death of his father.
Whether or you like him or not I think we can all appreciate and honor him for what he has accomplished in the NFL.
3 Cheers for Brett Favre.
Hip! Hip! Hooray!
Way to go #4. You old cheese-head.
