Datone Jones ( acc. to an article) is looking ok,although he prob.doesnt play Saturday ( sounds like good news that it doesnt sound long term
Dujuan Harris is back in camp and Coach Mc considers him a starter.
and
Georgio Tevecchio has the early advantage over Mason Crosby in camp so far ( lets hope it stays that way)
If Longwell wants to retire a Packer, maybe they should ask him if he wants to kick 1 more season,,im sure his leg isnt what it was distance wise, but, at least he can hit a high % inside the 40 ( unlike Crosby)as im sure he is still pretty accurate ( again unlike Crosby)

Haha Sign Longwell for a day and take him hostage. I like the way you think.

I wonder if Ted will trade anyone? Maybe Green or Starks..A few teams need a TE ( like NE) So are they willing to see who is cut, trade for someone,or stay where they are ( meaning NE)

Do you really think one of the other 31 teams would give anything for either of those two guys? 31 other teams can easily find RB's who can't play in this league, and these two guys can't.

I can't imagine anybody giving anything for Starks or Green. And I don't believe Ted will trade Finley, although he should.

Injuries happen,so who knows.Either they are traded or cut so thats leverage for the other 31,,why trade for them if GB will cut them BUT if enough teams suffer injuries, who knows.

N.E. had some interest in Williams at one point ( who knows if they still do at this point) but trading Williams now and letting Finley go after this year ( via FAcy) no way in hell GB can pay Finley what he thinks he deserves but no doubt someone will ( for his upside or potential,,,2 phrases,im really tired of hearing about Finley.....Upside and Potential)

The tricky thing about offering to trade Williams is that you send out the signal that you are willing to cut the guy, and then you can't get anything in return. The time to trade Williams to NE was when they called asking. I agree that there's no market for Green or Starks. And if that's our new run blocking, it may not matter who's back there. We'll see if things improve. We got pushed around last week.

Vikings player actually says something nice about Packers player

By Jay Sorgi

MINNEAPOLIS - Stop the presses! A member of the Vikings is actually saying something nice about the Packers!

On Sports Illustrated's MMQB site, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen gave wide receiver Jordy Nelson lots of credit where credit is due.

"I think Jordy Nelson is one of the most underrated guys in the NFL. He doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves. He should’ve been on the Pro Bowl team a couple of years ago and he wasn’t even on the ballot,"

Wow. I think I know a Viking fan or two that would like to burn Jared Allen at the stake for that comment. A few of them seem to think every player on the Packers is horrible. Which is pretty funny considering who they have at QB!

ITs the point that Vike fans are commenting GB is short because Jennings and Driver left, well,
Jared Allen seems to think Jordy Nelson is a Probowl WR,We all know Cobb is heading there and so is James Jones.
Boykins is developing nicely but who knows.

Of course we know what the Packers have. Viking players know too. However, there are some ignorant Viking fans that don't have a clue.
