<quoted text>Trevor Guyton was released before training camp last year I believe.Im sure that well probabably end up release some of the draft picks from the last couple years that are pretty much in a make or break year because we drafted better players now.I would say Stephen Burton,Deaundre Reed are on the bubble and probably a couple other guys.Weve had pretty good success though overall.Brian Robison,Fusco,Sanford,Sullivan ,Rhett Ellision,Mistral Raymond,.All late rounders that have done a decent job. Rodgers makes all the other players on that team look better than they are.The only reason Kuhn and Harris did as good as they did is because every team has to protect against the pass.I think you had a solid draft this year though but are the Packers in rebuild mode?Is the Packers strenght the recieving game becoming a liability?Jordy Nelson doesnt seem the same.Behind Jones ,Cobb and Nelson you have three undrafted recievers and 2 7th rounders.I dont think Boykin is ready for prime time.
Then you better be careful.Rodgers made the others look good? well, you just paid 9M Plus for one of his WRs.As far as Rodgers, hes at his prime now,he will be just fine for a while now

It does not matter what the Packers do, who they sign, who they let go, who they over pay. You two will always be blabbing on about something as to why the Packers are not good and your teams are better. I completely understand your need for discrediting the Packers and your wishful thinking mindset that your teams might take the #1 spot in the NFC North. I am sure that wishful thinking gets you through the day.

The simple truth is until one of your teams can actually unseat the Packers all of your BS is just that. I could go on and on about the 2 new RBs GB has added and what it can do to the offense. I can use professional analysis and their opinions, but you both would refuse to believe it (because you two know more than they do I guess).

Beat the Packers on the field, beat the Packers in the division, go further than Packers next year....... then I might need to listen to your BS.

<quoted text>The guy built a SB champion team thru the draft and one of the best records in the NFL over the past 5 years and for more proof,Just look around at how many former employee of Thompson got promoted to help run other teams.TT hasnt done a great job at teh Dline true,Oline has been injuries but it happens but again proof is in the pudding, look at the Packers record over the past several years and tell me again how much Ted Thompson failed?
Make no mistake it was Rodgers that won those games not Thompson. You know Eric all these articles I read by these so called columnists keep saying how much of a genius Ted Thompson is at finding talent at reciever in the late rounds.Where are these recievers?Jordy Nelson is a second round,Cobb is a second round,Jones is a third round.Jennings was a second round.Where are all these late round recievers he gets so much credit for?

<quoted text>What Im getting at is I dont understand why Thompson has to keep drafting the same position over and over.I dont buy the hype that Thompson is such a draft guru.He got lucky when he drafted Rodgers and I dont think he even expected what he got.Rodgers deserved the money he got because hes been carrying Thompson through one failed draft after the other. If not for Rodgers the Packers would be lucky to finish 500 and Thompson would be the laughing stock. You have the poorest running game, the poorest offensive line and last year a poor defense and last year you still go 11-5 because of Rodgers.Thompson gets more credit than he deserves.Sure hes hit on a few picks and Matthews is a pro bowler but allot of his picks are average players. He still hasnt addressed the o line. You really arent going to like what Im going to say now but I think Rodgers is running out of juice.Hes been sacked as much as Cutler.
Could say the same about you guys drafting corners... You guys have a great line, a great running game and a prety good defense and you go 10-6 because of Ponder. Maybe Spielman's overrated too? Not trying to be mean, friend. Everybody's got average players--guys that don't work out. The Vikings are improving fast. We're still pretty darn good.

Greg Jennings is a good reciever but Thompson was no genius. He was a second round pick,he should be good. The Packers started out in last place last year and the only difference is this year theyll finish in last.Youre passing game isnt what it used to be and thats youre bread and butter.Rodgers is past his prime. He doesnt have the five reciever set he used to.His best reciever is with the Purple now.!!!!!!!

Honestly, all I read in this post was 'Greg Jennings is a good' and then I stopped.

My post said nothing about GJ, it talked about your BS and constant blabbing that I no longer care about. You will always believe what you want to believe it doesn't matter what I say, I know. Keep on keepin on man! I don't care what you say either, but I can say the Packers are back to back NFC North Champs and the vikings are not.

At anytime I am willing to bet the Packers win the NFC North.(ask packluv he lost his bet and his man hood last year)

Are you confident enough to bet on your team? I say put your money where you mouth is, or put your mouth where my ass is.

Thanks for youre assessment because most try to say Ponder isnt very good. They would say that Peterson carried the team and in large part thats true but it wont be this year. Were finally to the point where we can address the wide reciever problems that have plagued us since Childress was here.I applaud Thompson for finally drafting running back but he should have done it long ago..The Vikings actually started rebuilding 5 years ago. This year will tell how good Spielman is but it sure looks better since hes become the GM on his own.

What does that have to do with my last post or anything for that matter?

I have been a regular here for many years ( I guess 4 years maybe more) and I never feel a need to hide. I can take the bad with the good.

However last Sept I did take a family vacation and drive from Finland to Italy, I missed the very first couple of week of the season, but I think I did a good job of checking in even while I was away. I am sure you refuse to believe this because you know everything.

So want to bet on the NFC North title? Yes or No? You seem so confident the Vikings will overtake the Packers, prove it.
