No,but,TT was great enough to build a Championship team.Spielman not as of yet.
The Vikes still have 9 of 10,,the Packers have only 6 of 10,could it be because the Vikes have more holes to fill OR more weak spots to improve on? Just a thought.

Naturally it's easier to make the Vikings and to break their starting lineup. That only proves what everybody already knows - the Packers are a better team. If the Vikings improve it will become more difficult to make the team there too. Drafts aren't measured by how many players make a team. Drafts are measured by wins and Championships. Any crappy team should have turnover if the GM is worth a darn.

Thats possible Eric and I expect their will be less than 9 after this draft cause were going to need roster spots.Someones got to go.That doesnt take away the four starters though and it would 5 if we didnt have Jared Allen cause Everson Griffin would get the start then.Im hearing the Vikings are close to bringing in Urlacher but because of the salary cap it wont happen till after June 1.I cant imagine him in purple. We'll see.

Are you talking about the article that says Christian Ponder is the Viking's catastrophe pick from that draft? Hmmmm. I think they got it right!

I dont know ,when you have to draft 4 running backs to get two thats not very good. When you draft a running back in 2010.2011.and 2012 youre bound to hit eventually.Ya I know youll say that Starks was a 6th rounder but you could have drafted a good punter with that pick.I just dont think Thompson is any better than the majority of GMs.The Vikings have all their first and second rounders turn out from the last few years.Wheres the genius?Sure every team has a flop now and then but so do the Packers. Its gonna be along time before you win another superbowl probably long after Rodgers is gone.

It also said that he was maturing. That was a worse case scenario. What did it say about the Packers?LOL

Have you noticed how many games the Packers have won versus the Vikings? Have you noticed the difference in records lately? Or the number of Championships? Talk about individual draft picks all you want. All I care about is my TEAM and it's performance in terms of wins and Championships.

BTW as long as it doesn't take in excess of 50 years to win our next Super Bowl, I'm okay with that. Do you know what I mean? I KNOW you know what I mean! Ha ha!

It said Christian Ponder was the Viking's catastrophe pick in that draft. It also said something about a lot of the players being on the team but significant production from very few. You know, like the poor production from Christian Ponder. BTW how games have the Vikings won since that draft? And how many have the Vikings lost?

You wont continue to win with drafts like that though. Its was already showing last year in the dline and oline and the secondary.

The secondary? Casey Hayward very well could have won rookie defensive player of the year, and led the NFL in INT for rookies i believe.Shields after a slow start playing hurt, played Probowl the 2nd half..House wth 1 arm played corner better then many.
Safety.Woodson is past prime so youngsters got their year of playing time to grow and mature..
Dline, i agree, they need better production.Jones hopefully will help that.
LB Perry coming back opposite of Mathews helps as well.
Dont worry about Green Bay the Defense will improve and the offense is still one of the best in the game and imagine how much better it can be with Lacy and Franklin back there carrying the rock.THE offense running will help the defense. Jones should help the de.line ( same side as Mathews) and better play there makes the secondary a better place to be and they are already decently solid back there ( considering no pass rush) any qb can throw on teams with no pass rush

The Packers have won quite a few games since then. 26 wins in the regular season the last two years alone. I think it would be greedy on my part to expect an average of 13 wins every season, so it's okay if Ted Thompson takes his foot off the gas a little. I don't want to see him make Viking fans cry!

We'll see if youre right.Honestly I dont remember in recent years the Packers into a season with so many unkowns as this year. When you won the superbowl you had a pretty solid team across the board.8th in total offense,9th in total defense. You had six probowlers.I dont see that now.I think you are at least a few drafts away from getting there again if at all.

What? Don't you remember that year? The Packers BARELY made the playoffs with 10 wins and were the 6th seed in the NFC. Since then the Packers have won more games each season and had a better playoff seed. And if the Packers are a few drafts from getting to the Super Bowl again, then the Vikings are at least a few decades away! That's what people willing to put there money on the line think. Cowards like you that don't actually believe in your team can talk all you want, but it's nothing but foolish wishful thinking! If you really believed in your BS you (and other Viking fans) would be betting on your team. Hoping that the Packers have become worse won't make the Vikings any better. So stop the silly and pointless jealousy fueled rhetoric.
