This isn't news because it's been known for a long time.

Oh wait
There was an awesome led Favre team that lost to the Bronco's
That was the most comical superbowl

Too bad for the Bears' fans that this team let the egos of the players and the coaches get in the way. That team could have won multiple SB's. Had one of the best running backs of all time and possibly the best defense of all time and they could have dominated the late '80s but, except for 1985, failed to live up to their and their fans expectations.

Im not even trying to pick on packluv/P.H. or LBF,,im serious. If GB losing to SF or the NYG is choking and the Bears "Supposedly" had teh best team and had only 1 Championship ( back in the day before the cap when Chicago had 1 of the highest payrolls and smaller market team struggled a bit like MLB today) does that mean the Bears choked? Maybe they should have won multiple championships like Lombardi's Packers..( they werent the best the only team in HISTORY to win 3 straight on 2 different occations)..Bill Walsh's SF 49ers,,Jimmy Johnsons Cowboys..Chuck Knoll and his Steel Curtain Steelers,,Don Shula's Miami Dolphins ( who were undefeated by the way, which is better record wise then any team obviously).
Bill Parcells won 2 SB with the NYG ( 86 and 90) and BEAT the Bears before and after the 85 Bears,,The Bears may have had the best defensive season but the best SB team,No..Any Jimmy Johnson Dallas Team was more dominate then the 85 Bears, the Bears had 1 solid year,Dallas did it over a 4 or 5 year period..SF with Bill Walsh and Joe Montana won 4 or 5 SB in a short time

one of the best? The best, it's the best football team that ever played the game. Doesn't matter when it happened, there probably will never be a team that will be that good. Packers never had a team that good. No team in history has ever done what they did once, so you ripping a team for not repeating is comical. Lol

when you come up with a team that only gives up 10 points in the playoffs and Super Bowl combined ... Talk to me. The ravens? With Trent differs at QB? 1985 bears would eat him for lunch. Maimi? Lol 14 game seasons with watered down teams? You can't change it Eric, it was the greatest team that ever played. It's the most dominate Super Bowl run in history and it still stands. Again, they shut-out two teams in the playoffs and only gave up 10 points in the Super Bowl. You can't touch it.

it would have been great to have more, but when you make history as being the best team that ever played the game , that's nothing to complain about. Speaking of not repeating , your packers can't do shit since they won the Super Bowl and can't seem to compete with the teams that of today.

Ok tough guy you can save that for Emery
(he is still trying to catch the so called “choking” Packers).
Maybe you can talk to me when he does… wank wank LOL

What is next being a SUPER tough guy and challenging people to bets your ass can't cash (oops too late!) YOu aren't even suposed to be here so I will talk when I want.

I asked a simple question about why they only won 1 Championship and you cried about it….

Sore subject?

Many thought a dynasty was in the making but nothing happened after that….What about the choking question do you NOT understand?

choking? That word is used for screwing up in a game, like when the packers play in the playoffs. Breaking up a team isn't choking. At the end of the day the 1985 bears became the Best team in the history of the NFL. During their playoff run they out scored their opponents 91-10. No other SuperBowl team was as popular or as famous world wide and to this day are the greatest Super Bowl team in history. That's kinda why mike Ditka is the most famous NFL coach on the planet . He coached the greatest team that ever played the game. Choke on that.

Dude comeon...J.J.Cowboys,Bill Walsh 49ers,,MH 96 Packers would put 50 on the Bears defense w/o breaking a sweat
2 different times..The Bears did it before the cap, with one of the highest payrolls,,,during an era of run,run then pass the 85 Def. wouldnt come close to stopping todays high powered offenses..Any SB team practically in the past decade would CRUSH the 85 Bears defense with ease,Players today are much bigger, stronger, faster and athletic.
Watered down 14 games,,with little FA Miami won 17 games undefeated and won back to back..point is,,Chicago had 1 fluke year,,what did they do in 84? shit,,86 shit?, they had 1 solid year but in todays standards,,NO WAY .SF offense today would put up 40 or more.STL ( greatest show on Turf would put up 50 with ease) Baltimore 00 team would stomp Chicago offense like a bug. a DOMINATE TEAM does it for more then 1 season, they had a fluke season where they all peaked at the same time. which is fine and great and it was a great defensive year but to say they would eat Baltimore 00 team is stupid to say the least..

Go find that post and quote me.

Did you start this thread to talk about the Packers?

I thought this was about the 85 bears? Why are you dodging the question?

Do you think the 85 bears team choked by only winning one title? It is .a simple question no need to hide from it.

The most famous NFL coach on the planet? Your joking right? So hard up for attention that hes doing State Farm commercials with Aaron Rodgers...Screwing up in the playoffs like the Bears did in 84 and 86? 1 team wins it all per year..
The big bad Bears with the big bad defense got it done 1 time.the Best defense in history and with Walter Peyton won 1, you shut out 2 teams in the playoffs when offenses werent nearly as sophisticated..a qb throws for 3K yards it was a great season,Now its expected...when Peyton ran for 1K yards folks were psyched! NOW, a back is supposed to run for 1K yards..IF you reall think the 85 Bears with their 1 championship is better then GB 3 straight on 2 different occasions. JJohnsons Dallas team who won 3,,,Bill Walsh won 4 or 5..Miami won back to back and an undefeated season....96 Packers ( 1st team to lead the league in scoring AND give up the least amount of points in the same season, since the 72 or 73 Dolphins,, Baltimore defense who was as dominate in a league thats much more sophisticated and much more offense,,STL Rams greatest show on turf ( all of who would score 40 or more on the 85 pts on the Bears defense) your a sorry guy.Face is, a dominating team wins more then 1,,Chicago CHOKED face it. you only got to 1 SB which isnt as good. By the way,,did the big bad Bears every lead the league in scoring and give up the least amount of points in a season? NO, GB did,,the the Bears get to at least 2 SB,,GB did AND the Packers got to 3 straight NFC title games ( and it should have been 4 with Jerry Rice knee a foot off the ground on a fumble that GB recovered and the refs reversed it,,in the game Owens caught the TD with 09 left or GB would have made 4 NFC title games straight, now thats domination,,GB won 3 Championships TWICE! Steel Curtain Steelers won how many SB in a row! Parcells Giants BEAT Ditka's Bears and won 2 SB in 4 years and the fact my friend you think Chicago is better then an undefeated team that won back to back is laughable

Great logic packluv!

So what you are saying is the bears have “not done shit” since 1985.

Take the 3 years the Packers have “not done shit” since winning the Super Bowl and compare it to what the bears have NOT done. Since the Packers won the Super Bowl the bears have NOT made the playoffs as opposed to the Packers 3 straight NFC North Titles…. Does that constitute as “suck HUGE donkey balls” for the bears? You act like they are so good.

Taking your logic one step further…
If it so happens the bears win the NFC North next year and lose in the playoffs that would mean they have “not done shit”. IF they do that 3 straight years it means they still have “not done shit”.

btw
Good luck bragging to any of us if the bears do happen to “not do shit” any time in the future!
I guess you will hide from this post like you did the choking discussion and cuntlers contract discussion. No worries I will save it for you.

the choking discussion isn't a discussion. The discussion is the 1985 bears was just rated the Best team in history, and that really isn't a discussion because it's common knowledge .
