Green Bay Packers: Longtime Packers employee fired for comment

A maintenance employee who's worked for the Green Bay Packers for more than two decades is fired after making a comment to head coach Mike McCarthy.

i totally agree...T.T and M.M need to go...especially mccarthy, he is holding everybody on the offense back...a-rod plays so much better when hes in control, mccarthy does not trust him or the offense when they get the lead cuz every single time they get the lead mccarthy calls for a conservative drive...hello?!?!?! thats not how u win games at all and i think the players have given up cuz they are being held back...and capers and dumb he needed to blitz the hell out of farve....give woods the job as defensive corrdinator or head coach and hell do as good if not better of a job

Yeah, great. Fire a guy that's been WORKING there for 20+ years! The one's that should be given their walking papers are:1--The "Turtle" (McCarthy) because he's ALWAYS got that nylon jacket zipped up to his Adams Apple; and 2---"The Gray Ghost", who, in reality started the Seahawks on their downward slide! Hell, BHO makes better decisions than these bozos! There's LOTS of GOOD GM's AND COACHES out there, go get a couple Mr. Murphy!

I run all the manpower for a very succesfull construction company in Milwaukee and have been second guessed, had heated arguements with employees who were both right and wrong. Having said that I find it very disturbing for someone in Coach McCarthy's position to react in this situation so poorly, taking out his frustration on this individual no matter what the comment was. I found it refreshing for someone to actually say something up there that was not vanilla and sugar coated as Ted and Mike do. Coach should be carefull because if they polled every Packer fan, we might just vote to have Mike Wood coach the team instead of McCarthy.
