The Steelers still won the division and the Jets finished 4-12. When was the last time the Jets won the Super Bowl? I think television was still black and white. Even great teams stumble against the crappiest....that's why they play the game. The only thing that matters is where you are at the END of the year. And the Jets are usually in the basement looking up. Happily the Steelers are usually always on top. But thanks for asking.

Pennington was going to be released but the Jets had second thoughts after he renegotiated his contract much lower.

As far as Glavine goes... he has sucked for the last few years. If he had a great year last year then your comparison would have made sense. In reality Glavine should have retired last year rather than sign with the Braves. So tell me BravPhin ... how many more wins does Glavine give the Braves that they would have lost without him as the pitcher? NONE.
