another WR nad a piece of 2 in the secondary and got on a hot streak at the right time and you never know.

Well, more than 1/3 of the NFL teams made the playoffs. The Lions as the 6th seed are somewhere just over or under being in the top 1/3 of NFL teams. Then they were beaten handily in their first playoff game.

It depends on how a person looks at it. The Lions are much closer than they have been in many, many years. However, they are a LONG way from winning a Super Bowl.

Since the Packers beat them twice, it would be nice to tell myself that the Lions are close, but the evidence says otherwise. There are a lot of "ifs" that can change things, but many teams can improve "if" certain things happen.

Pretty close, its in Indy, isn't it?......next year they get to NFC championship game and lose.....in 2014, they get to Superbowl.....

must say av watched american football wance or twice and a don't huv a clue what they are doing. a got told its similar tae rugby but its clearly not. a wish a did because america luks as though they are gawny jizzz in there pants at that super bowl. should come tae scotland, we will show you how tae kill, skin, gut & eat a sheep.
