If your going to suspend Suh, fine and suspend the refs too, since they're the ones who instigated the chain reaction of penalties with the "WORST" penalty calling I've ever seen...very poor officiating to say the least!
Is this why the Green Bay Packers investigated this "Ref Crew?!" WHY wasn't anyone from the Green Bay Offensive Line penalized for holding Suh in the first place?!.
"Hey professional refs", since when is pulling hair a penalty?! Its part of the uniform!
NOT a Horsecollar either...
It's hard enough to even play a team that's 10-0, but the Detroit Lion's had to play against the refs too! What a SHAME, the was over before it even started...Happy Thankstaking!

Stupidist comment ever by Spud. Did you not see the compilation of dirty hits by Suh that flooded the air waves after the stomping incident. What excuse do you offer for those? Bad calls or non calls happen in every game and there has been no film evidence cited by any of the sports channels that would even support your suggestion that these were prevalent in that game and even if they did would not justify Suh's actions. IDIOT!!! The Lions lost that game to a BETTER TEAM.

Just another example of an angry jackass, blamed on society for his troubles. This issue will not go away

I saw the play where Mr. Suh hurt the Green Bay player. He grabbed his head and forcefully thwacked the guy's head into the turf, over concrete. And this 'gentleman' stomped on the opposing player's arm. He could have done some serious damage. Even one of his college teammates says he's out of control. If a college teammate says he's out of control and was never liked, then we have a serious problem regarding the man's anger issues. He needs more than a suspension and fine, he needs to go to some anger management classes, because what will happen if he permanently injures a player? He could wind up in jail!

If the Lions want to lose Suh and other players for additional games all they need to do is encourage more of that play by blaming everybody except the players doing it. If the Lions want to help themselves they will teach their players to control themselves. The Lions need to decide whether that requires fines, punishment, anger management classes, medications, a shrink, or all of the above. It's the Lions that will suffer from now on if they continue to let the players go wild. The NFL will do something about it if the Lions don't want to.

There was a clever sentiment above, CHOP SUHY, that is being echoed by more and more fans of the NFL game.

The coach, of course, deserves some of the blame for letting his players get out of hand. Suh and teammate Avril do lead the league in personal fouls. What are they doing, going for an NFL record?

What they ARE doing is desecrating the professional game with their dirty tricks. Spud says that hair-pulling is part of the uniform? Are you kidding, you little weasel.

What is needed here is the suspension of Suh for the remainder of the season. Commissioner Goodell has to step up and stop this nonsense, we need a little Judge Kenneshaw attitude here. Take charge, Roger.

We let Albert Haynesworth get away with crapola when HE should have been set up as the example for all to see.

Suh now fits the bill as the poster boy for cheap shopts and other, uncalled-for, atrocities. Fine him, suspend him, ban him from the league, let him go to Europe where they might like his kind of playing. It's not the American way.

Forgive me for venting like this, but I am pissed and every honorable football fan should be, too. Yahoos like Suh are ruining the sport.

Chill out. I'm a Packer fan. Naturally, I don't like what Suh did, but the game of football has not been desecrated or ruined and no atrocities have been committed. It was a personal foul for which Suh and the Lions are being punished.

What Suh did was a disgrace and he is paying for it now. But like GBPlan said, no atrocities were committed. It was nasty but no one was hurt, Suh was out of line, its now over and done.

To the fool who commented about the Lions folding like a cheap seat, you do realize that this team lost 16 games 2 years ago. They are far from being a real play off team. They have lots of learning and growing as a team to do.

@Better judgement, hair is part of the uniform. Fact! Ruining the sport? No they aren't ruining the sport...the fact that the refs can't make a judgement on what a clean and unclean hit is, the fact the NFL cares more about what color a players shoes are then teaching the refs how to call a game...that is whats ruining. If you are so noble and worried about the game worry about head injuries, not a disgusting act after the whistle. Grow up, you come to a topix article to vent this...LOL

IMO Suh does get a bad rap on some calls, this wan't one of them. Sadly the Lions have been the NFL's doormat for close to 10 years, and those calling the team dirty (Atlanta) are having a hard time with the fact there are solid (but unclean) football players now wearing honulu blue and silver.

I can tell you are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to knowing the game of football. The LIONS weren't expected to win this year....10-6 and 11-5 is amazing and seeing as only 5 teams make the playoffs, any lions fan will take it.
Does ANYONE expect the Lions to go into - GB, SF or to the Saints and win a road playoff game....LOL
