Bob Costas is an idiot. He has no business even talking about sports, let alone ranting on people who play them. I know the NFL is now the No Fun League, but c'mon man. If athletes can't have fun playing the "GAME" (it is a GAME and GAMES are supposed to be FUN) then what is the point of playing? Money? Money alone isn't good enough. Fame? Lets face it only 2% of all pro athletes become Famous (not counting "local" celebrity status). Exercise? There are easier ways to stay fit than some of the pro sports are and some of those sports are not much exercise at all. I just think there are too many outsider, so called Politically Correct wannabes influencing the rules and regulations of all sports. I can't imagine what some of the All Time Greats of the Past who are no longer here would think about some of the BS happening in pro sports today. Bob Costas, Geraldo Rivera, John Stewart, and the like need to just shut there holes and enjoy the GAME. Those of you in Power and Control of the way they are run need to rethink the NO FUN ALLOWED part of the GAMES. When I played, there was no excessive celebration penalties or taunting penalties. They were a pertinent part of the game and if it got under the other teams skin then so be it. It requires character and fortitude as well as focus to refrain from letting someone elses joy or taunts affecting your performance. If you can't handle those things, get another profession. Haha, that's funny, most pro athletes can't do much else. Let them have FUN no matter how inane or shallow some of them act. It is a GAME !!!

According to Tony Scheffler, the only touchdown celebration he has planned is to lift a leg in the air and fart then go quietly back to the sideline.

I hate Bob Costas. He knows nothing about sports. It's obvious this loser has never played anything but Connect Four. I watch the Olympics on NBC (great job with your coverage, btw) and I feel my brain die when this dick starts to talk. He is an egotistical little bastard. Clearly, he's trying to make up for his micro-penis. Statz, I agree with you completely. Fire this asshole.
