Denver Broncos Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas are route monsters
Both Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas tops some rather important wide receiver lists in 2013, which makes sense given how dominant the Denver Broncos offense was during the regular season.

What is wrong with the sports writers who cover the NFL? And the NFL itself?
Jepsen's article rightly stated that Peyton was a first ballot HoFer before coming to Denver. He is!!! Likewise his records and probowl appearances help re-enforce this!!! No one is doubting that he has had great stats. However, stats must be taken in CONTEXT, something fans and the media FAIL TO DO. Peyton has had the absolute best parameters and support and should therefore have the best stats as well as a better win history, but he doesn't.
Consider...Peyton has had HOF receivers his whole career, and always at least three HOF offensive play-makers. Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Marshall Faulk and then Edgerrin James in Indy and now even better in Denver, has had an Oline that gives up the fewest sacks, has had HOF running backs to augment the passing game and to top it off, has played in a dome and now at altitude which gives him a great advantage over the competition and in upping his stats. Yet the media seems compelled to give him his 5 MVPs which were not earned on the field and have been scrutinized showing that at least two of them were not deserved because other players (plural) had better stats. And with Peyton, that is all he has stats. Even his being a SB Champion is questionable when one considers that the year he won the SuperBowl, he only had 3 TDs while throwing 7 INTs that postseason, and a mismarked 4th and 3 first down gave Peyton a ticket to his only SB win that he didn't deserve. Strange it was given in the very year that the NFL Front Office reportedly stated how wonderful it would be for Peyton to win a SB and then the refs who are controlled by the League Front Office made the error (on purpose?).
Even Peyton lovers who accuse Brady of being a game manager and system QB, fail to rightly identify the shortcomings of their own QB of choice.
Brady has done so much more with less, and when Brady loses it is either his defense or lesser receivers who drop passes that hints them in the hands. While Peyton's losses have been due to his throwing the game losing Interception.
Jepsen shows his lack of understanding when he concludes that it is hard to compare anyone else to how great Manning is.
When one compares performance based on assets available, Manning drops considerable down the list. In context, Peyton is at best just outside the top ten ever.
Otto Graham, Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas and several old timers are heads and shoulder above Manning. Steve Young, John Elway and Dan Marino are also better. Had Marino been given the media love and support Peyton has, he too would be considered as better than he was and this is Peyton's dilemma.
Given the best receivers, running backs, Oline and dome/altitude he has choked every chance he gets. Even his one success SB story, he tried to give it away but the league wouldn't let him.
