Cable deserves another chance as a head coach. I think he'd do well there

He is a good coach, with skeletons of his past wrongly being held against him. Then the assistant coach he hit incited others later to hit him. That was the assistants issue not cables.

well it's not wrongly? it's ouright! that's on his record ! just like when we don't want to hire players with a bad record or reputation he unlike other players and coaches, once you prove yourself like you've been doing, "which is a good job" and mature character like the way cable has been doing with the seahawks, should be able to get a job soon. i bet if the seahawks go to the superbowl, he may be an instant candidate. he's already on the "should we"? list. t cable got a second chance to better himself "character wise" he was already a decent coach.

Good point that players seem to be given second chance easier than coaches. Mike Vick returning to the NFL did not seem feasible after his incident. Cable is a good coach and sure showed leadership skills during his time with the Raiders.
