Harvin is not the deep threat Smith is. LaFell and maybe even Murphy are better than anybody else on our roster with the exception of Simpson who isn't playing.
Speaking of Smith, a guy who speaks his mind, what did he have to say about Scam the cybaby?
Culpepper, TJoke,Grossman, the list goes on.
I warned you that I was going to pound you into the dirt worse than ever this year. it's going to be a loooooooooong season.....
for you!
Steve Smith is exactly what Cam Newton needs.

I hate to say it Harvin was a deep threat when he had someone who could get him the ball. It's been a couple years since he had a QB who could do that.

The Vikings are missing deep threat Jimmy Kleinsasser.

I always love that one.

Anyway..........Cam Newton's meltdown. The celebrated running machine.

It is a team sport. And a QB will eventually be 30, a bad ankle or knee and a divorce......but still needs to use what is with him on the field to win.

Pure throwers.......Marino, Moon.....runners like Vick or Newton....ahhhhh. They are fine for hype but not for wins.

My hope is that RG3 settles into the leadership role and quits trying to win games all by himself.

Staubach.Stabler.Tark.Montana. Bradshaw.Starr.Elway.

Where are the leaders?

Warren Moon was actually a fairly mobile QB, especially in his younger days.

Where did I ever say Roethlisberger didn't have a better rookie season than Newton? I said Newton had a great rookie season--which he did. Some people can't freakin read.

I also believe Sonny Jurgensen should also be considered one of the best pure passers as well. Sonny had such a quick release, not to mention great arm strength and accuracy. He certainly was the best pure passer of the 1960's.
