Tebow doesn't silence his critics, he handles them

Donovan McNabb got the answer half-right. When ESPN's Skip Bayless asserted on Friday that Tim Tebow is the most unfairly criticized quarterback in the history of the NFL, McNabb replied: "Negative, I am." It might be a tie.

McNabb earned his on the field. Tebow earned his by proclaiming Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and being pro-life. Unlike McNabb he is not crying about it but man's up to the accusers.

It's a team effort. McNabb didn't lose all by himself and in the Superbowl if TO was 100% the Eagles probably would've won. They only lost by 3. And to achieve all that McNabb did in his career through adversity every second of everyday and still get no respect? Typical. You don't know football or sports for that matter my friend. Tebow flukes his way and backs into the playoffs and beats an injury riddled Steelers and gets it handed to him again by the Pats and still Tebow is so awesome?!

Your view is skewed.

The Broncos took a quarterback who is arguably on track to become the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL, and upon Tebow's request was he traded to the Jets who have already stated that he will be second string quarterback and assured significant playing time behind Sanchez who was the third quarterback to lead the Jets to an AFC Championship appearance in franchise history. Jumped from fourth string quarterback to 2nd even before arriving and then assured of significant playing time with a quarterback with Sanchez's record in only three years. Yeah, pretty sorry indeed. Replaced by Manning, arguably the greatest quarterback to play the game, and brought in to back up, and eventually replace Sanchez - Oh, the SHAME!!!

Yeah, all Tebow can do is win: WIN Florida's High School Championship, WIN two National College Football Championships, and WIN the National Football League's AFC West, the first year he leads the Broncos. While the Denver Broncos record in 2010 was 4-12, in 2012 they continued their downward slide to 1-4 in 2011. Then Tebow took over as quarterback, stopped and reversed the two year downward spiral from 1-5 to 9-8 and the team's 2nd AFC WEST championship since the days of John Elway. in spite of the Bronco's dismal start prior to Tebow taking over the team's reins. Can you imagine what the Bronco's record would have been if he had been the quarterback the entire season. Like the amusing vdideos - "All He Can Do Is Win" - at YouTube say, all he can do is win.

But self-proclaimed armchair "experts" know what the ignorant masses don't know: Tebow's passes are terribly inaccurate, he can't pass in the pccket, he throws wobbly erratic passes, he can't immprovise, he has no field vision, his pass is mechanically inefficient and ugly, his footwork in the pocket is terrible, he Tebows ...

5 loses overall and getting the boot for a 4th round at best draft pick and joining the biggest circus of a team as a backup QB is exactly the opposite of winning all the time.

you sound exactly like Stephen A for a...... You'll take any qb over Tim tebow because of hate. Fluke doesn't happen in a game. Maybe in mma where you throw a lucky punch. Stop hating and accept the fact that tebow is an nfl qb. Tebow is the reason they got manning right now because he expose the team and put them back into the spotlight. Like Champ Bailey said 'just roll with it' because you can't stop it

you said it's team effort also, then it is safe to say that the Denver team is a fluke last year, right?

Stephen A. Smith doesn't hate Tebow. He's just not a maniac and can see him for what he is. Stephen A. is also a devout Christian like Tebow too in case you didn't know.

Flukes happen all the time in sports and with you saying it doesn't, it makes one seriously question your sports credibility. I'll give you a few of examples of flukes that actually happened. A deflected pass off a defender in soccer that wasn't on target or even a shot on goal in the first place but goes in for a goal. A 10 yard pass that gets tipped and the receiver goes 60+ yards for a TD. A guaranteed home run hits a bird in flight and falls in play. Tim Tebow. And I could go on and on.

Champ saying to just roll with it was because to come out against Tebow to the maniacs means you're a "hater" and he didn't want to go out like that. Case and point is you.

You're correct, that would be hypocritical of a Christian to hate another Christian just because one's a role model(even though there's hypocrites everywhere)but Stephen A. doesn't hate Tim Tebow. He's said it a million times he loves Tebow the person but, Tebow the QB stinks.

Just because one doesn't go all goo-goo for Tebow and gush at his abysmal performances and can separate NFL player from ultimate Jesus-er doesn't mean they're hating on him. They're being objective. Only you Tebow-maniacs take offense. The rest of us just don't see the big deal because we're not fueled by the careless, offensive over board public display of faith. You all love it when he "tebows" in part because you know, people that don't share your faith do not like it.

I wouldn't get off if Atheists went door to door say like...Jehovah's witnesses. Leave people alone. Live and let live!
