John Elway is barely into his first weekend as the Denver Broncos' new chief of football operations and already he's in damage-control mode.Elway took to his Twitter account Saturday to deny speculation he would trade quarterback Tim Tebow. The fuss started when Peter King strongly implied on NBC that Elway might trade Tebow to the team that hires ...

Ex-football players rarely make front office successes.

Elway's job is a pacifier for old Bronco's fans. Hire the local hero....... A good PR move on the part of the Bronco's.

Elway was a football player much like Tebow, he is not a football guru or a front office executive.

I just love the ironic nature of this controversy and the fact that it demonstrates the talking heads of ESPN are complete morons. Why not some simple data. Perhaps a little simple DATA would be the best way to look at this question. What a f'ing novel concept. Perhaps the DATA would tell the truth about Tebow and not some vague ideas of what is "good". Hmmm.... What would the DATA say. It has been said that the truth is a sword so we should be a bit careful here. We might actually find out the sh_t that the ESPN talking heads are spouting. Hmmmm.... what would the data say.

Well, if John Elway thinks that Tim is not a good QB then he is a crapy QB. Or...he is a crapy evaluator of talent and should not be in his current job. Why. Look at the data yourself. Look at his stats from his first year and compare them to Tim's. Need I say anymore. Perhaps it would be instructive to look at the team he played with and their ability compared to what Tim had to work with in his first three games. Hmmmm.... How about this....look at how he did in his first three games of his first year and compare that to Tim. hmmmm...Tim is starting to look like the rock star he really is. Go ahead, compare the team as a whole John played with his first year and compare them to the team time played with now. Wow...

You you are a blow hard idiot then data is a real b_tch ain't it. Oh...look at the other QB saviors out there...at least according to the ESPN talking morons...the ones that "deserve" 50 million dollar contracts. Hah Hah Hah Hah!!!!!! I love it!!! You guys are morons. Look at the Data.

Oh...no...you say you really are just "concerned" about Tim's QB mechanics and it has nothing to do with Tim's religious preferences. Bah hah hah. You guys probably don't like Obama because of his politics and it has nothing to do with his skin color. wink wink... Yeah..we get it. Look at the data f'ers. and then go pay your 50 million dollar contract to the losers you prefer. Tebow is going to whip your buts biblical style.

You were warned.
Where do we go from here

Now compare him to your 50 million dollar Bradford wonder boy. Hope u idiots r enjoying that payout. Btw- compare Tims starting stats to Cam Nitwit's stats for his first three starts. It is soooo obvious only NFL "experts" can't see the simple truth. If it wasn't so offensive it would be funny. U guys r true ignoramuses.

I really hope that Eldork continues in his idiocy and refuses to start tim so his total arrogant a--head thinking will follow him and stain his career. U know the actual truth is that he is afraid that tim will eclipse his legacy.

Haha...watch and c that cam will also be a relative bust.

U read it here first

I have seen rocks with a higher iq.

Seriously. It is funny to see some many talking heads go record about this. In a weird way it is actually interesting. The true hard data say the exact opposite.... And yet "experts" insist he is overrated. Honestly it is a curious thing.

So he may play today. At least we won't have to see snoring, "the best chance to win" QB, embarrass himself by pleading for the 4th n goal opportunity only to b stuffed because he sucks.

Hahaha....I think this is funny. I actually wish they would continue to use their "brains" and leave tim on the sideline and go for more 4th and goal "opportunities". Ha. I really enjoy this.

Holy crap dude, Elway sucked his first year out:

Tebow was much better. Yikes. Data speaks for itself.

Btw- Another strong performance from Denvers "best chance to win" today. Hahaha

The dictionary definition of insanity is trying the same thing again and again but expecting a different result. Let me introduce u to the brainiacs that r Elway and his crack coaching team and....THEIR BEST CHANCE TO WIN.

Seriously, these guys much enjoy losing and looking like the insane morons that they r.

The dictionary definition of insanity is trying the same thing again and again...like Teblow and his -1 yards rushing last week....

Really, that is your position.

Keep enjoying your 3 int best chance to win qb who had several plays for a loss...and more than one yard. You must be a member of the "intelligentsia" that is the Denver coaching staff. This really must be "logic" to u morons.

Glad to see another success story of American education. My taxes at work.

Ok...I stand corrected. Man, it is embarrassing to be so wrong. Orton is the Man. It is so clear now. He had one play that was for positive yards....that compared to one play by Tebow last week for negative yards. The difference could not be more clear. I think I had just swallowed a stupid pill or something. The brain trust in the Denver coaching staff have been waaayyyu ahead of me. Just take a single play in isolation, it is so distracting to consider all the data and frankly it is so obvious anyway. I think the facts r 4 weak minded people like those silly Christians. Never mind the the score at the end of the first half, we all know that he gives us the best chance to win. The score is just another data point that doesn't really have any bearing on reality. Did you see tebow throwing motion. He is so ripe to be picked off. As it has been said, opposing defenses just salivate thinking about that. Tebow is weak and overrated.

It is sooo clear now.

It's so clear now....Broncos still cant win even with Teblow...Decker -4 yards receiving, Lloyd 1 catch for 20 yards....Teblow stinks, It is soooo clear now...

Holy cow... here is some poor deluded fool talking about facts again....http://www.kdvr.com/n ews/kdvr-tebow-better-than-elw ay-20111012,0,7475748.story

Tebow a much much better college player that Elway and better by far than Elway in comparing first few starts??? Yikes, next thing you know they will compare the teams they were playing with and point out how much better Elway's team was in his first three games than the team tim played with and say that shows even more clearly how much better tebow is.

It is just madness!!!! Haven't they heard how sucky Tim's mechanics r? These peoloe r just deluded.

It will be fun watching Teblow...and the Broncos still not win ebought o see the post season...holy cow...

#19 Oct 13, 2011
Exactly!!! They have noooo chance to win games with tebow under center. They lost to the chargers and if tebow would have been playing the whole game it probably would have the same result. Just look at his pocket presence... it sucks and with his long release he is just waiting to be picked off. Not like snoring who has a fantastic throwing motion and accuracy. I know the idiots r trying to point out that snoring got picked off and tebow didn't but those r just stats again. They r so dumb.

We know that the reason snoring did so "poorly" is because the team didn't give him a chance to win because they r so bad. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/891774-d...

However, it is just as clear that theses games they bound to lose will b tebows fault....i mean they will lose a lot of games for sure.
