I agree. A qb upgrade is needed. I'm also not adverse to drafting Mark Ingram to replace Barber and/or Choice.

Once Cam Newton sees videos of Jerry Jones jumping up & down in the Cowboy locker room after a loss in a drunken rant with his pants all pissed up, he'll want to play elsewhere.

Forget it, yes its nice to have another good backup, if Romo gose down. But i do not have the stomach to have another crapy year watching some rookie come in, and make mistakes. Sorry! but i think Romo is our guy, besides we don't need anymore headachs when the N.C.A.A fines the truth about Newton and we are in the news again, like when T.O was here.

Most teams have problems waiting to happen with their players (ex. Vince Young, Hainesworth, etc.) Romo is 31, way past his prime. I think Aikman retired before 35, as did Staubach. Kitna did a worthy job filling in, but he, like Brad Johnson did, needs to hang it up. Groom a Newton or whoever. Just wish Andrew Luck was entering the draft.

That's strange. He made the Hall of Fame the first time around, plus he made the ring of honor in Arlington Stadium.

In addendum, Aikman has several Wing Stop franchises, is involved with NASCAR, and is a Fox Analayst. I don't think you could do that if you couldn't tie your shoes.

"Despite his obvious athleticism, Newton was slow in his drops, forcing him to hurry his throwing motion to get the ball out in time as receivers ran their routes. As he hurried his motion, he wasn't able to transfer his weight fluidly from his back step to his front, resulting in several inaccurate passes.

Newton's poorest throws were on the deep outs, a staple of any pro-style offense. Several throws sailed high and wide out of bounds, a couple of feet over the heads of his intended targets. Other than the simple 10-yard tosses he threw early to receivers running the gauntlet drill, Newton completed only 11 of 21 passes."

But at least he can broad jump far...what a Scam

Going 11 0f 21 at the combine, Mr Newton should be paying the NFL just to draft his son. His Pro Day work out will be comical.

"So I cant complete the deep ball or half of my out routes, want to watch me broad jump? My dad tells me that is a very useful NFL trait when it comes to passing."

What a sCam.

I hope you don't eat your words come draft time, although I think it is moot point, since I think they will draft a safety or dl or ol.
