What the hell are the Raiders thinking. He will be 35..35!!!! Why waste time with an old cab. I know he had a good year last year, but he is 35!!!!!!!!!! We don't need a band aid. There is only one viable reason to bring in this cat. To teach, our db position is a mess, so if that's the plan I get it. But I doubt he is waslntibg to teach.

what happened to searching for youth? i don't mind veterans in the trenches, but most anywhere else, they need to be just a liiiiiittle bit younger. juuuuuuuuust a little bit younger. well, except for aging (qb's) that are still doing good.

If he comes cheap enough i'll take em. I just don't want us blowing 4 or 5 million a year on a guy that will get burned and his pro bowl days are long past.

I think they're just going for cheap and maybe we'll see some real moves next year when we actually have cap space & a full draft

Unlike everybody else I think our cb position is fine. Adams & Ross both played well last year when they did play. Actually Adams played really well & Ross WA consistently good. Our front 7 is the problem. We have serious problems their! I'm learning not to trust this regime, a total 360 from last year.

At times they laughed at Bilentnkoff or Brown coaching the position. I think there is something to be said about a former-player gaining the respect of the current players, since they have been there and done that. I agree. Newman is experience. You could also get that with a coach that is a former player, on the cheap. On the cheap, that should interest McKenzie.
