I still have hope that we'll finish 9-7 at least. SD got stunned by the same Jets team that we beat in week 3. Denver almost became Miami's first victim, but Palmer knows what he has to do to get back in the swing of things.

A lot of people tend to forget that when Michael Jordan went back to basketball after his first retirement, he wasn't the superstar a lot of us remember, but once he got his swagger back, the Bulls of the late 90s were probably the most dominant franchise ever; the ones of the early 90s were good too, but the late 90s team was better.

Campbell struggled early in the season last year and seemed to get better as the season went on. This year, Campbell had more command of the offense and the Raiders could be more deceptive and had a better comfort level with the receivers. Palmer is starting at 7/8 game mark. He is going to have to accelerate the learning curve otherwise the Raiders will miss the playoffs unless McFadden, the Special Teams and Defense help out in a big way and on a weekly basis.

Palmer is a proven leader, so I think that's a big reason Hue Jackson decided to go for him. Campbell got better last year once he was the unquestioned starter. All the offesne vowed to stay in Oakland this week to work with him so he can learn the offense, so I'm really thinking that this team is serious about winning. I remember one QB that sucked and would high tail it to vegas or wherever he wanted to spend his off time as soon as he could.

Big Injuries include:
Mcfadden-foot; McClain-Ankle; Campbell-Collarbone; C Johnson-Ankle & hamstring; Sebass-Hamstring and not to mention Matt Shaughnessey already on IR.

Blackstock is our 3rd backup MLB since we lost Goethel in camp that led to Ricky Brown's return and he's on IR now too.

Hopefully some of these guys will recover over the bye week.
