If the Packers are going with Harrell as the number 2 QB, we better hope Aaron stays very healthy this season.

Not real confident in Harrell as the backup either. Who do you see as possible pickups for backup QB? If he gets cut by Cleveland, do you see the Packers signing Colt McCoy?

I hope AR keeps rushing, then you will see Harrel for sure!

I've heard several names of backup QBs that may be cut or may be available in a trade: In addition to Colt McCoy, there is Matt Hassellbeck, Trent Edwards (currently 3rd on the Eagles roster), Brady Quinn/Ricky Stanzi (one of whom will be cut by the Chiefs), Stephen McGee (now behind Orton on the Cowboys), Adam Weber (who is going to be cut by the Broncos), Tim Tebow or Greg McElroy (one of whom will not be a Jet by the end of preseason)

I definitely HOPE the Packers sign McCoy if he gets cut. I'd be in favor of the Packers making a trade for him. I'm afraid Thompson and the coaching staff will let their egos get in the way of making a move to replace Harrell.

You will never mistake Aaron Rodgers for Michael Vick. It's nice that Rodgers can run when he needs to or can, but I wouldn't get my hopes up on him becoming a running QB if I was you. You should concern yourself with your own injury prone QB. Not that the Bears will do that much better with ot without him. Third place in the division is still third place.
