Garza was the back-up!!! 2.) None of your depth charts even match up. 3.) According to your little depth chart Bradley is the #1 receiver with Mike Hass as a back-up. Cant you let ANYTHING go .. Tell me I am dreaming here! Where are the cameras? This is a joke right? These aren't my depth charts! I do not work for the BEARS OR THE NFL! You said St. Clair never started then say I Have taken it out of context after calling ME a _________. Please help me from post #24 what exactly the context was that I mistook it from? Wait I got it your a politician aren't you? LET ME DO THIS......Since I AM SO DENSE AND OBVIOUSLY MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND YOU ARE SO WISE>>>>PROVIDE ME A LINK........ anywhere over the last year 2007 (unless you and the Bears staff have one worked up for 2008) where Garza is listed as the back up center.....please! I await the Link....

No_More_Rexcuses wrote: <quoted text>Let me correct myself here...Oakley suited up for 3 games last season...Kinda hard to be the back-up the other 13 games when your not dressed to play...Garza was the back-up center on game day. OK ..Anymore questions? Thanks for correcting yourself. It is a good quality.

You are certainly entitled to all of your opinions, and really I don't enjoy going to the level that our discussion has. I try to avoid name calling, and so far have done that. I think I will continue to do so, enjoy the Forum. GO Bears.

I guess the whole depth chart thing sent me back to when you were trying to get me to find St. Clair as a starter again. and the fact that i don't right the depth charts. Disregard my post there. You inflammatory language sometimes brings out the worst in me, my bad.

It just sounds like we have a difference of opinion...Right now thats all it is OPINION.... It just bugs me when people state opinion as facts. I can tell you have a good grasp on the game. Lots of people come on here and say that they were ex Div I QBs or worked at NFL films and don't even know what a 3-4 is. Try and BS everyone about their "vast knowledge" of the salary cap..Let alone what fundamentals make for a good QB. You are obviously not in this same category. So lets move on and talk football!

Otis wrote: OK, new topic = center! How many more seasons will we get from Kreutz, do we have a suitable center-in-waiting, and should we investigate the shotgun more to help Grossman (since he always has to scamper backwards anyway)? Kreutz is very popular & I really like the guy (especially when he is breaking jaws!), but he didn't make the Pro Bowl last year....is this a concern? Follow-up...I see that Olin didn't practice today due to injury! Same for Dusty. Here we go again! How deep is this team, really? We are going to need bodies...remember our chat about how we should build up the team vs. trade away draft picks? We have a ton of WR, a bunch of TE, and some new linemen. How about center, kickers, 3rd string QB etc.?

Now that camp is underway do any of you guys still think we have an improved o-line? From what I've read they are absolutely terrible. Williams is already behind and Kruetz and Metcalf are dinged up. Remember how we talked about depth? Wow .... we are in trouble!

NMR, you and I have been kicking around the "Kreutz question" since last season (is Olin on the decline?) and the recent injury doesn't bode well. Josh Beekman can play center BUT I've read where he is small for that position. Williams is starting to look like a wasted pick if his injury backs up earlier information that he had back problems at college. Depth my foot! With this turnstile O-Line, Rex better get used to the taste of grass in his mouth!!

http://www.prosportsdaily.com/comments/whats-... http://www.prosportsdaily.com/comments/bottom... Here is another couple of articles about the O line. I sure hope the Bears are just being safe with Williams and he ends up being ready to start.

I really think they are down playing this a lot. If it was a "muscular" problem they could have given him naproxsyn and he'd be fine within a few days. Lets just hope its not something serious like a disc.

Good article discussing Beekman, he's larger than I was thinking: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-05-h... I agree with NMR about the back spasm! I just had one of those mo'fo's and it hurt like hell, but the muscle relaxant made it right in about 48 hours. So what else could Williams have in his back? Man am I getting tired of the injury BS on this team!! Dusty D. etc. Let's hope Mike Brown FINALLY has a healthy season! Of course, if Grossman strands the D on the field like last year, I don't know...
