HAW HAW HAW, thanks, that was a classic! I knew about the tirade but hadn't heard the whole 9 yards version that you posted!

Poor goddamn Cubs, I hope they have a change of luck! I had some really nice days out at that park...but anymore, I stay away from the "15%" that Elia rails about!

Speaking of which, how do you guys like all the heat that Lovie-boy is taking now? Dave Haugh is his usual apologist self, but Smith is getting creamed in print & on the radio!

He really deserves. Lets see how the team responds against the Browns. I would think anything less than a blow out would be a disappointment. If the game winds up being close or the Browns win Lovie and company better start packing their bags.

Either way Lovie needs to go! Bring in Cowher. Hes just what the Bears need.

i been reading up alot on tampa/cover 2 schemes and how its so dependant on the right players...

we dont have those "right" players anymore...
mike brown=gone
Brian Urlacher=gone
tommy harris=been gone since 2006
among others gone or ageing

or CB's suck now...wtf happened to tillman?
then there was vasher...could go on and on...

even if we switched to 3/4 we are screwed on defense for next 2 maybe 3 years

just an observation. i would keep Lovie if he would take a demotion to DC and we brought in Cowher as HC and dumped turner haha

but yea, lots of heat will be taken off once bears expected win vs browns.

my focus is going to be on Cutler/forte this weekend....for obvious reasons. Its disturbing when Hester has made more progression then the o-line,cutler and forte combined.

Ya know, these Bears have a tendency to assume they can thrash the teams that they SHOULD thrash, only to be surprised....I'd put Falcons and Bengals in that category.

Any Given Sunday, right? Anderson is having a crap year, but the guy was really decent in the past (pro-bowl in 2007). If the Browns are hungry enough, they might surprise.

More than a blowout, I'd like to see some forward progress with the Bears....like Forte breaking free, the lines learning how to work as units, and Olsen getting his shite together for once. If this is a make-do kind of game, even a win by a large margin, it won't be enough to wipe out the memory of the Bengals fiasco!

Now, beating the Vikes a few times would go a long way to erasing that memory, but honestly, those are games I am not looking forward to. Hope for the best, gents, and GO BEARS!

Well Im hoping for a blow out. I just took the Bears giving 15 pts for 300. My logic is that after last weekend they're going to put a beating on the Brownies. I think this whole thing with Harris had a lot to do with the defenses bad performance. Hopefully after the "benching" it lit a fire under their asses and they take it out on the Brownies.

Out here in Denver we watched mediocrity for years post-Elway. It was always the DC's fault so they got fired routinely. Didn't solve the problem. The real problem was LOFT...Lack Of F'n Talent. Same as the Bears right now. The O-Line blows, no threat at receiver, no heat from the DL, opposing receivers running free in the secondary. Until they fire the HC and clean house like they did in Denver, the Bears will continue to be who Greene thought they were.

Things change quick in the NFL. Good luck Bears, don't expect miracles from Cutler

Now if they lose this game against the browns i will be the first to register at www.fireloviesmith.com and fully eat crow for the remainder of the season. And if they lose more then 10 games i will become a sox fan for all of next year and buy a ozzie jersey and wear it to the cubbie bear during a cubs-cardinal series and allow myself to get my arse beat :)
and yes, i will post links to pics if that does happen lol
no crow burgers for me this week yay!

I guess I'd have to say I had crow soup, I thought Orton and the Broncos would keep it up, but NOOO, Kyle had an Orton-like performance!

Bears were decent enough, I'm glad that Forte ran in for two...but this wasn't much competition, I'm still not relishing Bears vs. Vikings!

Oh well, fuggit! GO BEARS! The Walter tribute film was awesome!

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Taurus

This is a day for turning your attention to your finances, especially if you're currently working on the budget for domestic improvements or changes. Talk to the other people concerned and really listen to what they're saying. They'll have some great insights. It will be far more productive to work as a harmonious team rather than as warring factions.
