I originally predicted early in the season a tight 7-9 with an 8-8 season being extraordinary...

i think they might actually go 9-7 especially if they beat carolina.

there may be a wildcard bid.

4-3,

9 games to go. so if they go 5-4....

5-4 + 4-3 = 9-7 record.

dunno i think you may be right midway.

Next 3 weeks are big.

If we win out the next 3 we're pretty much straight.

Hopefully GB loses to Tenn the week we play Detroi and Minn losses to Texas

Then we play Tenn, and GB plays Minn, hopefully Minn wins b/c they're already one game more behind us.

Then we play GB week after while Minn plays Tampa Bay which Tampa bay should destroy them in Tampa.

That would put up 2-3 games up on both teams.

Ah hell, it's late and I'm drinkin' the Koolaid! I voted 10-6, why not?

Fuggit, GO BEARS! Here's hoping that the receivers learn how to hang onto the ball a bit better this season, eh?

The bears will probaly go 11-5. I voted that because they have a very good (Easy) season. They have a few hard games but they've beat the SuperBowl Champions Pittsburg Steelers.

so you think the bears are only going to lose 2 games for the rest of the season? 8-2 rest of the way?

I think you might be pretty close, Dimz.....hell, at this point, I wonder if we'll do as well as 7-9!

It looks like Lovie's press conference was one of his typical song & dance routines, "the rest of the season starts now" bullshite.

Looks to me like ANYONE in the NFL could whomp on this team, and I sure don't look forward to playing the Vikings!

You know, by now there is so much game-tape of Bears' collapses (GB, Atlanta and Cincinnati) that I think the Bears are sunk for the remaining games.

Good coordinators will be able to figure these guys out & aim for the weak spots...I was hoping Bowman would be better at his position, and the D is weak through & through.

Plus, with the Bears' O-Line, Cutler can and will be had for lunch throughout the season, just watch. I wouldn't even count on beating the Browns!

7-9 would be optimistic I'm afraid. Oh well, fuggit, go Bears (note: lower-case)

i disagree otis.

Cincy is a very good team this year with a great offense and defense that happened to have played extremely well while the Bears played extremely bad.

bears have 4 easy wins especially with browns and lions left to play.

Now if they lose this game against the browns i will be the first to register at www.fireloviesmith.com and fully eat crow for the remainder of the season. And if they lose more then 10 games i will become a sox fan for all of next year and buy a ozzie jersey and wear it to the cubbie bear during a cubs-cardinal series and allow myself to get my arse beat :)

and yes, i will post links to pics if that does happen lol

Thanks, man, I knew I could count on you!

Now that the Cubs have new owners, maybe something good will finally happen up north? It's been a loooong time, amigo! Now, if only the McCaskeys could be bought out...

Between the crappy coaching and totally lackluster play, I'm not sure what to expect each Sunday...I agree about Cincy, and I've long admired Carson Palmer & Ocho Cinco. But Benson?? The Bears should have been prepared for that guy, what an embarrassment!

Of course, maybe Bears players figure that their best chance is to get traded off the team & out of town....seems to work for everyone else lately!

Oy vey, FUGGIT, GO BEARS! If the Bears break .500, I'll wear Cubbie Blue and post pictures of my buddies beating the crap outta me! Sox fans are all paroled felons ya know....
